I like Latoya in this, but come on...she posed nude for Playboy twice. She used to perform in strip shows....she has travelled a lot and had her own experiences. They are certainly not "normal" but they are her experiences. SHe's not sheltered IMO...I think she enjoys the safety of being "stuck" at home after her insane marriage.

Have you watched the other episodes? It's obvious that as a child she was no allowed to get out there and experience anything, and her husband continued that. she's 52 now, hard to change the way you lived for 50 years :\. But I think this experience will do wonders for her!

i've seen all the episodes and know her story quite well i'm a huge fan of janet and michael.... she had a more normal childhood as you say than some of her siblings, and as far as her being with that guy, that was her choice, that was a long time ago, she still lives at home and never gets out and that's kind of a sad way to live but whatev
