  • works for me. love these two

  • so does Brian always sing like that? o.o

  • Actually this was how it was staged in the New York revivdk

  • I do agree that this was awkwardly put together but I must say that the actual production was wonderful. Quite possibly one of the greatest revivals in the history of Broadway, right up there with the current revival of Anything Goes.

  • @Masquerade2010 I'm with you. But you have to admit those harmonies were GLORIOUS!!

  • I don't like her voice for this. His is perfect but hers emits no emotion, no authentic emotion rather . . .

  • @Broadway1408 This mashed up clip does not do their performances justice. Her performance was one of the best I have seen in nearly 40 years, particularly this song. She was mezmerizing.

  • So you're telling me that neither of the characters could hear each other professing their love through the wall? lol

  • @McGarvinStudios This wasn't the way the song was actually done in the show. They sang So In Love as solos in separate scenes.

  • @McGarvinStudios - awww, such a shame. Really needed some muchmaker like hitch to have them hitched and stucked together. Awww, love is all around. They're so suitable for each other. Hope them angles will do their best work to keep them close.

  • the London version is better

  • no, IIII'm the host!

  • KMK was just on. I *thought* I caught the tail (or tale, lol) end of the commentator saying that this song wasn't included in the original version of the play. It was written for another play, but was included in the movie version and was incorporated ever since. Or did I dream that? lolol!!!

  • @AK74inCali From This Moment On is the song that was added to the 1953 movie version. It was a great production number with fabulous dancing. The best part of the movie IMO. In this revival, From This Moment On was included but sung by Lilli and the General in her dressing room. It was turned into a bit of a comic number.

  • true...

  • he's a hunk

  • Hmmm.... an awkward mash up of dialogue that makes for a mini-scene of needless exposition, a duet that's really supposed to be two different songs at two different parts of the show, and harmonies that don't actually exist. If they really wanted both Brian and Marin to perform, why didn't they just have them sing Wunderbar?

  • @Masquerade2010 Agreed. Yes and yes.

  • @Masquerade2010 I agree and her high note while impressive(I suppose) took me right out of the scene, awkward....awkward

  • @Masquerade2010

    Agreed!

  • This is GOD. They're incredible.
