Upon reading about it and seeing the video, it seems that it was declared as fraud by Pope Gregory IX... in 1238. Is it not possible that the men, hidden, light the sticks themselves? I mean every year at the same time is fishy and they are hidden as well in that small room.

God sends his light every Holy Saturday to Orthodox Christians, who then spread it around the world. Quite amazingly, it gets to every part of the world by midnight, because of the time change.
I just want to draw everybody's attention that it is called the Holy light not the Holy fire, since the light doesn't burn unlike fire. Also with light you can find your path in the darkest hours. i am not a lier...but why don't believe me?it seems that you are prone to believing at lies...i don't need faith in miracles...if it happens it happens,either you have or you don't have faith...mirracle=something beyond natural....there is no such thing as supernatural though...whatever occurs in nature is part of it...if it can happen it is not a miracle...nothing out of matter can exist in this universe..if god exists ouside, he can't mess up with things in...so why bother?
