I find it cool how Sesame Street takes a regular show and spoofs it. In recent years I have found a lot of good Sesame Street spoofs of modern shows I wouldn't have discovered otherwise.

If I'm right, "6 Feet Under" IS a real show.. on HBO.
And in this era, his voice is more that of his other Jerry Nelson characters (Mr. Johnson, Simon Soundman and Amazing Mumford).
