This is a vehicle which runs on an engine fueled by gasoline. It's a two-stroke engine, which is pound for pound more polluting than a car engine. I doubt it's highway legal, so basically it's a commuter vehicle meant for fairly short trips (1-10 miles). The healthy and enivronmentally friendly option to this wasteful piece of technology is a bicycle. Not only will you burn off a few pounds, but your improved cardiovascular health will aid in banging your girlfriend.

I suppose if you want to pick my original comment appart in a literal manner then yes, not everyone who operates one of these will become obese. Just like everyone who drives a car is not unhealthy. Obesity relates to a few things... diet, genetics and physical activity. But to me an invention like this represents everything wrong with the modern world. Why use a resourse gobbling device such as this, when there's an already perfectly healthy and emission free alternative...the bicycle.

true, i use bikes all the time, got a trek 7.3 fx, nice bike. but i always like to ride gopeds, just for fun. but in all honesty. cars polute way more than motorized bikes like this.

Sure, a car pumps out a higher volume of exhaust, but the two-stroke exhaust is more toxic. If you've got a pristine lake, it doesn't matter if you pour paint thinner into it by the pail full or spoonful, eventually it becomes polluted. Ride the thing all you like, but nothing will convince me a machine like this does one ounce of good for the environment.
