This game is creating a TERRIBLE impediment to someone learning an actual instrument. The finger movements have nothing to do with how you'd be really playing. It'd be far easier for someone to learn guitar who's never played the game.

Why does your generation need to pretend to play these songs at all? Do it

the right way: buy the equipment, take

lessons, listen to CDs, view the words

and get your own band together. Believe me, in the end you will appreciate your own effort! Don't fall for the Hollywood

Take it from someone who is in this generation, while it may appear that kids are more focused on playing these type of music games, I've seen more people (myself included) get motivated to actually learning the songs on real instruments. I for one never touched a real guitar because I felt I probably could never play one.  After getting good at these games I actually bought a real guitar and I've had fun with both mediums ever since.

im getting this and im also pumped. but, i bet the songs get a little bit boring after playing them alot by yourself, but in the regular rb, many of the songs that would be boring alone are really really fun with a group. im sure these will all be like that

The drummer sucks... he can't play for crap. Seriously. He chokes on double blues or whatnot every 10 seconds. I'm so getting the game though.

Look, I'm for making this game a tribute to the real thing as much as the next guy, but you can only go so far. Most people are right-handed so it wouldn't make sense to make the bass left-handed. Should the game come with weed to make it more like the real thing too? Actually, don't answer that question.

Drums look so fun on this song! I'm gonna get the 3 cymbal kit and put the hi-hat off to the left and the crash off to the left and use the blue as a ride cymbal and put it to the right. Just like a real drum kit :D
