Unfortunately, progression in software technology has allowed pretty much anyone to sample from other artists. Having said that, as long as the final product sounds good I don't see as being a big problem. Almost all of Daft Punk's tracks are complete samples of other people's works. They make the music sound good though and that's all that matters in the end.

The Chase... It's not the first time someone rips off Moroder's disco madness, and dance music is all about ripping off, sampling, and making more money on others music. It's the way it is... oh come on... it's a fairly standart and eventless dance track, not brilliant at all. As like everything Joris does... no big deal, but not offensive or bad.

Like i said B4 "music for the masses" and he stole it from Moroder.

There is no effort in making this track. It's just loking for instanst cheap succes. The ones who gave me a bad reaction will no longer remember this in 2 years from now cause they are dancing then on tthe next cheap hype. The killed House then moved on on killing elektro & now they find Techno & minimal sooooo cool!! that they will kill it also. Like Jesus said: " Father pls forgive them, caude they just d'ont know"

IMO to pay proper respect to the original artist , this should have been named as a remix of the "The Chase" by Giorgio Moroder. creative sampling is great but too much of the original work is in this song for it to be considered a new song.
