3 imaginary boys album dropped in 1977 thats amazing, i didnt realize they predated every single group i had prev. thought them as derivative of-- now avail. as 180 gram vinyl special reprint

No, the album was released in 1979. The American version, called Boys Don't Cry, came out in 1980. I have no idea about this album, but most of the 180 gram "uber collector's remaster editions" suck in sound compared to well preserved originals.

Thanks a million for the post. Brings back the memories -I saw them a few months later when Iin April 1982 at Sheffield Poly....my ears are still ringing. Can't believe its 26 years ago...what the f*** happened to the time. Got to see them last week in Boston, USA...Robert has now became Big Bob, but man, they're still brilliant. Imho, their best stuff was 1982 (Faith) and earlier....this sing still one of my faves, along with Drowning Man, Forest, and Love Song.
