  • Buon compleanno rossini

  • happy birthday you magnificent bastard

  • Happy birthday Rossini!

  • Polkadots! >.<

  • Very fine performance, but in my opinion Thomas Hampson's version is unbeatable.

  • @skrzeczowas also prince poppycock!!

  • This performance is absolutely sublime!

  • I simply love this performance, the brilliantly designed set, and the passion of the man acting, no BEING Figaro.

  • One Does Not Simply shave without sing this.

  • Pietro Spagnoli as Figaro

  • Quel metteur en scène : c'est sublime pour un opéra de cette qualité

    Qui sont les voix....,

    Merci

  • Can you get this on dvd? & whos playing Figaro?

  • omg I love this so much!!!

  • A musical play about a man who loves his job and people were entertained by this...

  • You have to appreciate the ability for a voice to sing this piece. Such a beautiful and marvellous rendition of Rossini's work.

  • Does anyone know where I can find only the orchestra part?

  • @rbdhack google IMSLP. This is heaven for classical music sheets(and legal.)

  • It's good to hear a real Italian singing this... The accent makes a lot out of it. My Opinion

  • How can peopple talk and write so many bullshit about a simple opera aria like this ?? It is not possible that they could find so many bullshit about a well known Rossini's opera. My God !!! JAL, form Brazil

  • not very good performance, tempo needs +20%, and instrument more accuracy

  • @ohorok2 fuk you talking bout , ur no composer!

  • @5starLevi I am musician, I know sheets , and I hear it. It is your problem that you are deaf

  • @ohorok2 I agree that faster versions of the aria are more enjoyable on a melodic level. But the tempo of this production seems to be suitable if one would seek to actually try to understand the lyrics ^^

  • @helenlovespaul, you're seeing this production? He is amazing. I'm so jealous!

  • im totally seeing this in Birmingham on Saturday cannot wait, that guy is amazing, he looks like Patrick Bergen. xx

  • Who is this tenor?

  • @scout123crash he's a baritone

  • Is there anywhere that i can buy digital version of this opera? would really love to see this performance

  • @MithranArkanere

And extremely difficult. Hence why there's not many people who CAN sing it fast.

  • Does anybody know who this is or where I might be able to find/purchase a copy of this performance?

  • This guy sings too slow. I'll look for one that sing this faster. It's more fun when it's faster.

  • @MithranArkanere Woody Woodpecker sang it REAL fast. It was Mel Blanc

  • I love opera! This is one of my favorites! Thank you! :)

  • I believe that you all are idiots! You have no general knowledge let alone being intelligent, yet you take turns in criticizing art, which by the way was more complex than the trend nowadays in which people resort to simplicity.I believe you should just watch it and if you consider yourself intelligent enough to comment please don't.First learn some languages then go to the opera or the theater.

  • is this song in the romans language? or is it italian or french or wurt? O>O been wonmderin that so much!

  • @Stariena035220 It's in Italian. The Romans spoke Latin, which Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian came from.

  • @TheAntagonist43 WOW u sure know ur facts! txs for the info ;]

  • @TheAntagonist43 Also, French and Romanian.

  • @TheAntagonist43 don't forget french

  • @TheAntagonist43 Don't forget Romania and France

  • @TheAntagonist43 french and romanian also came from latin

  • @TheAntagonist43 and French

  • @TheAntagonist43

And the French also !! ;)

  • @TheAntagonist43 And Romanians

  • @ionutfoslea and spartans ;p

  • @TheAntagonist43 Also Romanian, French and Catalan.

  • @biuladen this is my fave song no matter wat :D

OMG i want to be the guy singing T_T

  • @Stariena035220 I'm pretty sure it's some form of Italian, and I don't think that it's Latin

  • @rugburglar thanks! =D

  • @Stariena035220 it's a heavily accented italian, not sure why they chose this particular accent, but the play is from Rome, Italy. Latin was the roman language and except for a few people keeping it alive, it's not the official language of any country, so it's slowly dying off due to not being used much. the only common use of latin nowadays is the scientific naming of some elements and species of animals.

  • @flamedrag18 ah, ok! txs so much for the info =D

i get such good info on utube +DD

  • @flamedrag18 its not dying. Doctors need to speak latin more or less fluently. Good doctors anyway. Historians should know latin as well. And it would be nice to have it brought back to schools as a mandatory third language just cause its too awesome! I myself intend on learning latin soon

  • @JokeeGA5 mandatory third language? sure, like any sane politician would attempt that.

  • @flamedrag18 Latin is the official language of Vatican, it's still used even for the cash machine there...

  • @Stariena035220 Opera is always sung in italian. Always.

  • @kizugrey kewl! txs!

  • @kizugrey actually no. Opera started in Italy, but after several years other languages have been sung on stage in frech, german, spanish and other languages...

  • @abulafiarose yeah but italian remains THE Opera language

  • thankyou for uploading this again. i'd love to get the file from you

  • Look, man... I might be part Sicilian, but operah has never done it for me. HOWEVER... After watching the full "Rabbit of Seville" Bugs Bunny cartoon, I looked up the original being performed. I like hard rock, non-homosexual classical music and HAPPY country western. Not opera. But THIS... Flawless. And without being fruity. Straight up awesome performance, not only for Gioachino Antonio Rossini, but the entire cast and production group. I don't know Italian, but from Spanish, '¡Olé!'

  • @jonnylakeland what is "non-homosexual" classical music?

  • @rickardo004 basically anything that doesn't sound like it was made by a gay guy or the singer dresses and acts in a homosexual kind of way, example of homosexual singer, prince poppycock(even the name sounds gay "sigh")

  • @flamedrag18 What exactly is wrong with that?

  • @stevenbrodie123 nothing necessarily wrong with it, but some people just don't like it. consider it a genre, if you don't like rap music, it doesn't necessarily mean it's wrong, you just don't like it.

  • @rickardo004

    Add dubstep.

  • @jonnylakeland the first time i searched this song i got the tom and jerry barber of sevile T_T boy did that put a dent in me T_T XD

  • I think my jaw just hit the floor.

  • Extraordinary, one of my favourites :D
