The comments on here are really trashy and degrading. How sad is it that women get so upset about something [so trivial such as cosmetics] and resort to name calling?
Reann, you don't have to defend your product, it's clearly successful, so the majority believe it is an amazing find. If someone thinks otherwise, then let them, because people will always have their differences.
Also, for all the haters... Honestly, go check out the reviews of Guru's on YouTube. They all have purchased and are in love with this sponge. It doesn't matter if you think she's mean or whatever. Its not a gimmick. If you love makeup and you love making your skin look great then you will love this thing. She doesn't have to be "desperate to sell her products" or whatever. She's HUGE!! I'm happy she takes the time to still reply to us piss-ants on here.
ReAnn seems psycho posting like she does, it really influenced me against buying or using this product and I will no doubt share my findings with others.
We agree to disagree! However Sonia did copy me and has made hers in an inferior harder material and offers no way to keep her clean...she also copied my packaging in attempt to lure the Beautyblender customer into believing it was the same product...I guess imitation IS the highest form of flattery! I hope you will try my mass (cheaper) market Beautyblender product when it comes on the market....very soon! xoxo
@sj1605 FYI... most other cosmetic sponges are made with material designed NOT to absorb moisture. The materials used in most other cosmetic sponges r used 2 solve the make up absorbtion issue. They're created with materials to repel moisture. Those materials had to be much denser and harder.
These other materials smear and pool your make up on the sponge, resulting in uneven application and overall sloppier application. Yes the shape is special but the softness that BB gives when used damp is unmatched in any other sponge...knock offs included. This is the key to its superior make up application.
@reaann I use the sonia kashuk sponge which is half the price of this sponge and my makeup looks like airbrushed makeup. The wedge sponges which are commonly available works well too when used damp.
@sj1605 Anyone who says this obviously have not used both sponges. Period. They are not the same. I guess if you didn't really care about the details of how your skin looked then you could say that the shape is the only difference. I, like everyone else, tried the knock-off brands to try to save a buck. Not a good idea.....
@msjulieangell well, i have tried both. the beauty blender is a bit softer than the sonia kashuk one but the results are the same and the sonia kashuk one is easier to hold since it has a groove plus it is way cheaper. well, you dont hv to be so rude. you are acting like its your product in question here. chill out!
love this sponge! best way I have found to apply my make-up in the morning which is quick, fast and flawless! my foundation/concealer/blush all applied with only one tool. have highly recommended it to everyone who asks about my skin
any of you tested Olays new product line?! theyre quality - i keep on buy more and more :) did you know u can get hold of 100 % free samples from "GratisMakeupSamples". i received the samples on 15/09/2010.
why does it matter wether the model has good skin or not? the application was seamless, wich is what the beautyblender was designed to do. plus it wouldnt prove anything about coverage because it all depends on what product you use. now to be fair i see no rosacea but its not a huge issue. oh and no i wasnt paid to say this.
fantastic helpful hints- thank you!, anybody tested Sally Hansens new product line?! its quite hard to get makeup in Pyote yet you can receive impressive samples of make-up from 'Gratis Makeup Samples'! theyre awesome.
breathtaking pointers- cheers!, has anybody tried Rimmel's new range of products? it is not easy to get hold of decent makeup in Osakis but i managed to recieve great samples of makeup through "GratisMakeupSamples", there cool!
Hi, I got my Beauty Blender and used it for the first time today, I have very light skin, freckles and many blemishes on my cheeks. I use mineral make up and normally apply it with a Kabuki brush. But today I used the Beauty Blender for the first time with my mineral make up and the results are amazing :) I'm hooked :)
Brushes can be cleaned with a brush cleaner. Process: spray on tissue and then flick the brush back and forth across it. They work brilliantly and disinfect at the same time, allowing you to use the same brush for multiple colours/clients without having to wash in water. Napoleon manufactures one and there's also another cheaper brand sold in Myers & Priceline (Australia). Have fun hunting - it's good!
I'm from down under and was so happy to see it available in Australia. I ordered the beauty blender and I must say that I absolutely love it - Thanks so much!!!!!!!
So it's a sponge ? ......

im sure if you used brush cleanser and watered it down, if the cleanser was a gel/cream, it would work just fine. :]

sonia kashuk sells her own version for only 9 bucks at target, i prefer hers over this one bc it does not soak up as much of the product
