Well I'll be, a rearrangement of Gusty Garden and it's not a bad one at all, somehow it fits the atmosphere that Mario and Sonic strive to attain, and almost makes me want to play the game now. It's not near as good as the original, but come on, how can anyone top a masterpiece like THAT?! But it still maintains a fair amount of the beauty in the theme itself.

@KomicTurtle Actually, Nintendo did record some voices for the Mario characters, as well as put some music from the original Mario games in, but SEGA did do the remix (with some help from Nintendo, I think)
@KomicTurtle no, nintendo put all of its sounds in, and that includes voices, sound effects and music, so nintendo did the remix. youve got to remember nintendo doesnt really like working with other companies, and they try avoiding it. mario sports mix was worked with square enix just barely.
In almost all events (except for ski jump and figure skating). If you buy a MP3 thingy in the Secret Shop and the music in the Music Shop, you can listen to it in almost all events. Press the minus button right before the event you want to play, start the event and there you go.
I am gonna buy this. If nintendo didn't put such great music in their games, i would not buy them. But i can't stop myself buying a game that has music like this.

Even though it's not as good as the original orchestrated version, it's damn close. The quality isn't that bad considering it's all synth. If Nintendo did the music it would be a lot worse since their synth work isn't exactly great; case in point, original Super Mario Galaxy trailer.

I'm gonna have to disagree with that. Something this souless and rushed does not compare to the original version. It sounds like Sonic music instead of Mario music. It's still got an orchestra, hence my post. Good Egg Galaxy was effectively remixed and sounded more like it was made for a marching band in the Dream Ski Jump event. Aside from the beat you mentioned, this song is exactly the same.

@KomicTurtle no, nintendo put all of its sounds in, and that includes voices, sound effects and music, so nintendo did the remix. youve got to remember nintendo doesnt really like working with other companies, and they try avoiding it. mario sports mix was worked with square enix just barely.

In almost all events (except for ski jump and figure skating). If you buy a MP3 thingy in the Secret Shop and the music in the Music Shop, you can listen to it in almost all events. Press the minus button right before the event you want to play, start the event and there you go.

Even though it's not as good as the original orchestrated version, it's damn close. The quality isn't that bad considering it's all synth. If Nintendo did the music it would be a lot worse since their synth work isn't exactly great; case in point, original Super Mario Galaxy trailer.

no it is NOT even close! not by a long shot. i've heard way better arrangements than this one the rock version on youtube sounds more professional than this. this does not sound like something that a professional would compose. i'm pretty sure jun senue is not 100% satisfied with this song or the whole soundtrack in general because he had to very little time to finish.all the music just sounds rushed. did you even hear any of the music in mario galaxy?

I'm gonna have to disagree with that. Something this souless and rushed does not compare to the original version. It sounds like Sonic music instead of Mario music. One song sounded like Chao Garden . Besides..this is a gimmicky game anyways..Mario should stop with the crossovers with Sonic. ..Sonic is terrible these days.

It's still got an orchestra, hence my post. Good Egg Galaxy was effectively remixed and sounded more like it was made for a marching band in the Dream Ski Jump event. Aside from the beat you mentioned, this song is exactly the same.
