I had to travel along this road from Troon to Gourock the next day and I have never seen so much debris and damage along the Ayrshire coast in my life. The worst sections were between Largs and Skelmorlie, and just before Gourock. Large swathes of roof tiles torn right off of nearly every single roof in these sections was mental!
