@jpazz201 they didn't kill themselves. that was the the alarm-bell of dawn's watch. she had an agreement with her mom: whenever you hear the alarm dawn and her mom are thinking intensively of each other.

john cusack's acting was so powerful ~ when he tries to call home just to hear grace's voice and especially when he said, "i don't know how to talk to these girls. i haven't even told 'em, so you gotta tell me what to do, grace, please, god, tell me what to do" ...well done.
