  • There is a serious flaw in this method. I have seen people that have killed themselves by using this Lester and Larry's method. First, the foundation is L Ron Hubbard "Dianetic" Technique, which simply is re-runing an emotion or past pain until it "flat lines" the issue with Sedona Method, is that if your unstable, and you bring up emotions and your not not able to fully release these emotions, you can end up a basketcase. The junk that your digging up, will boomerang and over power many people

  • @EntBlog90210 "I have seen people that have killed themselves by using this Lester and Larry's method." - Do you have a link to a news story about that?

I can *theoretically* see how that would be possible, but most people start with the junk they are *already experiencing* on goals, day-to-day issues, etc. And as they are doing that, they are increasing their capacity to face their actual feelings. So, I find your claim of suicide because of this highly unlikely.

  • @EntBlog90210 I have spent a lot of time learning and using the Sedone Technique.

Like any skill, you need to build your skills to handle situations of increasing difficulty. If you are a learner driver, it would be dangerous to race cars. That does not mean that driving is dangerous for everyone and should be avoided.

In my experience, the Sedona Method is extremely gentle - more gentle that what most people are doing to themselves all the time. And, the method is extremely effective.

  • @EntBlog90210 You've got to be kidding me. You've "seen" people that have killed themselves?? Very very rare cases I would imagine. Digging up "junk" is exactly where the healing process is... It's the supressing of these powerful emotions that cause us so much pain.

  • @EntBlog90210 This is not a flaw in the Sedone method, or any method in particular. Regular psychiatrists will ask of you to reconnect with the emotions. Support groups all work with the same principle. Before you can fix a problem, you have to acknowledge it. Once you've acknowledged it, you can work on it. This is not a Sedona thing.

The method you seem to be suggesting is called suppression. This causes a build-up of psychological tension and will eventually launch you into a depression.

  • I really found this quite helpful! Thanks for the free info

  • I'm experiencing boredom

  • @cunnidvd So I'm guessing you think boredom is a bad thing, and you'd like to get over it?

Instead, could you welcome it, and just let it be there? Could stop trying to be somewhere else, and welcome where you are at this moment? Would you? When?

  • @AviMarcus Will that really work? Won't that lead to more bordedom? There is so mcuh in life we cannot control.

  • Thanks. Great video. I found your explanation clear and the technique worked on an issue I had been procrastinating on all day.
