Love this show, love Alys's style, love love love everything about it! Although I live in NW QLD Australia I am starting a vegie garden and building a chicken coop with the aim of staying away from the old, limp, totally unapealing vegies on the supermarket shelves completely!
I got to see one episode the other night, but I'd like to see more. However the chances of me ever seeing it on TV are slim to none. I cannot watch it online either since "it is not available in my area"... grr,
I loved the series too but only saw two episodes before it expired from iplayer. Do you know if there is any way to find the series otherwise? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The programme touched lightly on topics rather than being an informative guide to growing food. Sadly this programme doesnt fill the gap which exsists on television at the moment. I was hoping to see the garden version of Grow Your Own Drugs but sadly it will be one of those series that will be forgotten due to its substance being loose and the style over-used.
Great! Can't wait. I hope the camera work isn't to jumpy and is presented in more of a traditional way. The content is the star, not the style! Remember that Mr Producer, it will win you more fans!
three Sisters...grow that squash, beans, and some corn together, as one. very key! Learn from the americans, that is, the pre-colonial ones!

I simply ADORED this 6-part series. I have lettuce growing in window boxes
on my mini balcony because of this series. Lettuce and dill and chives! I even thought about frying dandelion heads. I would so like to see a sequel!
