in assassins creed 2, i got into combat with some guards and a pickpocket came and stole over 200,000 florins from me so i chased him on the rooftops and had my pistol ready and i shot his ass and the money came back

You don't even have to kill them with the broom

if you have the broom equipped and you hold x at a close but distant to a guard you an shoot them but you will still get the acheivment :)

This achievement can be glitched! If you find a broom, hold it and find a guard. Then, lock onto any guard with LT and hold down X. This will make you aim at them with you gun, and upon releasing X, you will shoot the guard. Since you're holding the broom, you'll still get the achievement, so that's a bit easier way of getting it!
