@JMoore4291 yeah it was a disappointing day that day...strong headwind kept the car from goin 9's on the lower boost but I just couldnt hook up on the last pass. Car leaves really soft so theres precious time wasted, but stock rear end can only ask for so much
@orr89rocz BS... you sat there at the starting line after you rolled for OVER 1/4 second... thats a 9 second pass my friend, looked to me like a half second :-X
@JMoore4291 60 foot doesnt show the delay. It was about on par with what i usually do when I spin tire like that...if I broke the beams early it would have been more like a 2.0 instead of a 1.7x or w/e it was. I only rolled through maybe 6-7" and thats not enough to break both beams...deep staged maybe but not roll through. No big deal, I know the car has 9s in it, its been 9.7's. I just dont leave on boost
@orr89rocz oh ok, i didnt know that the beams didnt get triggered... i'm building an 88 iroc as we speak, set the motor and tranny in there today, just goin with an old school chevy 350 bored .030 over (355) but i'm still gonna put the S480 on there, its gonna be carburetored but i still want it to run 9's this summer, i want the LS motor (which ever the 427 small block on is) and i plan on getting some AFR's and puttin the S480 on that to run a solid 8 every pass, yours been out yet this year?

@element303 Hard to find a stick shift that will hold any power reliably. I had a T56 to go into this car but last minute changed for a stronger tranny. This one is a full manual TH400 so its not totally automatic
i was hoping to get a t56. i have a 5,7 z28 3rd gen and plan a twin turbo kit as well but really.. i HATE automatic. u guys are used to it but i moved here from europe. nobody there use automatic haha
@ttamx5 haha, exactly, im buildin a turbo iroc and am looking for a T400 to put in my car even though its a stick, i saw 2 camaros race one manual one auto and when they took off the were dead even when the manual hit 2nd he was about 2 feet behind, when he hit 3rd 4 feet behind and when he hit 4th 6 ft behind, no one pulled on anyone but the down time of the clutch just made that much of a difference and officially changed my mind
I just started to follow your thread a bit on Third Gen and it's really sweet to watch your car in action. I loved watching that mustang at the beginning just look silly. And that 5th Gen Camaro... you're putting out some serious power! What a dream man! Keep it up.
