i use Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0 and it works exactly the same except u can make it that big like 2000X 480 or what ever it was, but if u do the max it tells u, its awesome Quality, just to let any other users out there know.

what screen recording program should i use for my computer? i tried to record an online game with camtasia, then i used the raw video file extracted from camtasia and it became horrible grainy quality on vegas, and when i turned it into full 24X quality it made sony vegas lag to bad to do anything. any tips?

When I'm importing video (mp4 - 1024x768 @ 60 FPS) into Sony Vegas 9.0 the quality drops very low. It looks very grainy. but when I watch it in VLC, Nero or Quicktime the video is perfectly sharp. Do you, or anyone else know how to fix this issue?

he used a 1:78 ratio but keeping the pixel format at 1.000, it does not work

i suggest do everything he said, but under resolution

select hd (1280*720) and that'll get rid of the bars

@fearospir Hello Fearospir if you can't find 3 MBPS option on your Sony Vegas 9 thats because your settings on SAVE AS TYPE is not Windows Media Video 11 if you change your SAVE AS TYPE to Windows Media Video 11 then you will be able to select the 3 MBPS option below for some reason this guy didn't mention it on this video Hope i Helped :)
