I used to watch this video over and over before my summer in Japan in 2008. Now I'm in college about to go to Kyoto for a year, and I am going to make a stop to visit my host family <3 I still keep in touch with them and we talk at least once a month and I feel like they will always be my family. Now I'm aiming to be a study abroad advisor, so thank you AFS!!
Im AFS student now, and i very disapointed about lot of choose, im not in USA but im in a very important europe country. And can say to the 95% of my experience in this year is thans to me, because i change 3 times of famillie and a really have more expected about that program... But i never going to change this amazing year...
Love this video. its connected to so many feelings. AFS connected my life with others and helped me sharing cultures with others. Connecting lives, Sharing cultures
I was an AFS Exchange Student from Honduras in Norway back in 1987/1988 and I had the most amazing and wonderful experience my parents could have giving me. Gaby Aceituno González
check that video on youtube and meet some of the volunteers from santiago and the students that right now are living their experience all over the world!!!!
I miss my AFS experience so much! I'm 18 and I went to Portugal 2 years ago. I'd give anything to go again!
I learned so much by being an AFSer... that there is truly nothing greater than people from different backgrounds coming together, in a new country... learning a new language.
It's a beautiful experience...
STUDY ABROAD with AFS! It will be the greatest year of your life and you will not regret a single moment of it. I promise!
I love AFS! I want to go back to live with my host family right now!! I made so many friends all over the world. I am going to have to keep traveling in my life now that I have been on AFS. It will be one expensive journey from here on out! Thanks AFS for making everything so wonderful.
LOVE AFS.....
LOVE USA
BUT MY NAME WAS NOT IN THE LIST..

i cried all the time this video lasts!!
that it is AFS, and in one word is INDEFINABLE!!
just an afs student can understand what another afs student has felt during his experience in a foreign country...
i really hope than more and more people are going to join the afs programs in the next years!
i m going back home soon, from an annual program in China, and i cant wait to become volunteer and maybe even host someone!!!
afs is one of the greatest organizations in the whole world!!
