I used to watch this video over and over before my summer in Japan in 2008. Now I'm in college about to go to Kyoto for a year, and I am going to make a stop to visit my host family <3 I still keep in touch with them and we talk at least once a month and I feel like they will always be my family. Now I'm aiming to be a study abroad advisor, so thank you AFS!!

Im AFS student now, and i very disapointed about lot of choose, im not in USA but im in a very important europe country. And can say to the 95% of my experience in this year is thans to me, because i change 3 times of famillie and a really have more expected about that program... But i never going to change this amazing year...

I miss my AFS experience so much! I'm 18 and I went to Portugal 2 years ago. I'd give anything to go again!

I learned so much by being an AFSer... that there is truly nothing greater than people from different backgrounds coming together, in a new country... learning a new language.

It's a beautiful experience...
