@jacob1943 Stupid and maybe illegal, your caravan should weigh 85% of your cars kerb weight - maximum is 100% for UK drivers who have passed their test after 1/1/1997 - before that police can allow drivers to tow vehicles using the tow car manufacturers guidelines which for my Mondeo TDCI is 1800KG much more than the cars actual weight because it has good towing power! but some cars with weak engines or subframes only permit 85% or less of the kerb weight of the vehicle! This R5 is over the 100%
