Very impressive gun, top notch. I'd like to see more of that thing in action. I cant figure out what that little fan thing was doing in the combustion chamber though +you use'n batteries to ignite it?, and I'd thought stainless steel was kinda a bitch to work with.. you have any problems?
Stainless is very easy to work with if you are me, ignition is from a simple piezo-electric bbq igniter, the fan mixes the fuel (butane gas) and is ran on 18v (2x9v batteries) in short bursts to get a more consistent ignition.
Would you be able to send me a construction instruction on how you build your fan and ignition system? i can do the orange gun easy im just having trouble with a decent ignition system.
However all you reall need is a peizo sparker simply found on your old mans BBQ and an old fan out of a computer PSU unit, that and some simple wiring and if you cant get everything right a generous amount of arldite epoxy might not go a stray.
hope it helps a little bit, ive been playing around with this sucker lately with H2 O2 (hydrogen oxygen - pure) mixes and am very impressed by the results.
