  • Doesn't that opening riff bear a resemblance to Tubular Bells and also on the last track(Musica Universalis)the riff sounds like the bass part at the end of side 1 of TB.A good album however especially the limited edition set which I bought on Tuesday which has a live version. He worked with Kevin Ayers at Abbey Road when he was 16

  • Fantastic album, I can't stop listening to it. I'm into film music a lot and MOTS sounds a lot like film music. Great atmosphere, the songs are really telling a story, great work!

  • Music of the Spheres - some of the most haunting, beautiful, powerful music I have ever heard. Thank you so much Mike Oldfeild - he is a genius! Tubular Bells 3 is incredible aswell.

  • Isn't it about time that Mike Oldfield stopped plagiarising "Tubular Bells"?

  • It's just perfect

  • is this all of the commentary? i'd like as much as i can get .. thanks for this.

  • good stuff mike!

  • Excellent music, one of Oldfield´s finest!

  • got the album,it was not what i hoped for,

  • Can't wait for the album, it's gonna be amazing!

  • its seems like a classical version of tb but cant wait for the album

  • Thanks so much for uploading this. I'm really looking forward to Music Of The Spheres, and it's great to hear a little about how it was made.
