If you think about it deeply, why is it so offensive to say that 9/11 was brought down by bombs or other explosives? He is not denying those who died. He is not denying that 9/11 occured. He is not saying that 9/11 was fake by saying it was bombs that took down the building. In fact, he payed his respects to those who died at the memorial. I don't see how this is extremely offensive to those who lost their love ones. But i do see this offensive to those who are hiding the truth.

I agree on having a second investigation of the 9/11 attacks on the FBI, the Bush administration, and the ineffectiveness of the administration. I believe that this commission should be an INDEPENDENT 3rd Party investigating the whereabouts and come up with results as to what was the whole deal of it. Altho, I disagree that 9/11 was an inside job. Plainly because it is my views. I understand investigating this belief is the most intelligent idea and it will close the chapter of the disaster.
