I played in semi final win at Salford but missed the final through injury.Played in the 11-0 final loss to Widnes the following year,again at Salford when Dave Moran scored under the posts of a Mick Adams bomb came back of the bar.Only try of the game.

Mick Burke still had kick the goal from the to win it though. I was there that day. I remember promising God, if he kicked the goal I woukd go to Church every sunday.

I did go the next day. Just to say thanks. but needlessly to say I broke my promise.
