I have to tell it's a nice airline. I flow them 2 days ago back from Bangkok and I'd love them to fly. Making the flights like before with the oldies. Love their Boeing 747-300. Beautiful, the only 2 sad points on board is that's too hot inside and Iran has a terrible transfersystem, but nevertheless forget about that.

Should Recommend it to you guys. Cheap and good for sure.

@hotelhotel111 Well if you arrived at the Airport, you'll walking to a transfer system (Your not be able to get your ticket from Tehran to Bangkok in the UK or Germany for example). It's a two desk transfer system for almost all people in the aircraft, because most persons are going straight to Bangkok, So it takes for some more then a 1 hour to be done and waiting in the terminal.

Indeed, I can't find either time tables or prices from MXP to BKK. Many people told me Mahan has rather cheap tickets

@barthoedemaker they could also be CF6s i believe theyre CF6s because JT9Ds dont make a buzzsaw noise at takeoff and JT9Ds arent as powerful as CF6s long live the CF6!!!!

Very nice video. Flew Mahan Air A310 a few months ago from Dubai to Tehran, expected a 747 (which I got on the way home) but a very nice ride nonetheless, fantastic crew. Visit Iran - it's beauiful people and culture are one thing, but if you're an aviation dude, there's nowhere else like it - 707s, 747SPs, loads of Tupolevs, 727s, all fifty bucks a ride. Go there now!

Oh, greatdude, no problem, Air Transat fly daily Gatwick to Toronto with A310s, I've done it a few times, longest was 8h18m inflight with severe headwinds - and Air Transat put nearly 100 more seats in their machines. Anyway Tehran is only four and a half hours away, remember it's only the other side of Turkey. Lovely country btw, I hope you get to visit and discover for yourself the beautiful kindness and culture of the Iranian people one day.

I flown from IKA to MAN last winter we had pretty bad landing as weather was quite rough and one of the over head framing came off and landed on my friend head which was funny but apart from that it was a good flight. I am getting ready for next year as I going to train to be a pilot in Oxford Aviation Academy I am preparing for it and studying ATPL books to have previous knowledge for my ground training I am bit exited and nervous wish me luck.

Aside from joking, Iranian pilots are some of the best in the world of aviation. Flying aircraft built in the bicentennial, safely around the world, which of course has also a lot to do with talented aircraft mechanics and engineers, is no easy task.
