  • What days do A300's go to manchester? And where can i find out?

  • Cheers to those bad ass pilots

  • Muy bueno el video .. nada mas falto el aterrizaje del avion que para mi fue el mas fantastico de todos los aviones .. el avion supersonico concorde

  • The first landing was bouncy.

  • The KLM landing must've hurt...twice

  • look at 1:25 sec pakistan international airline boing 777-200

  • amazing video quality!!! Where is this video recorded from??

  • great vid!!! *THUMBS UP*

    "I love windy landings;)"

  • ouch for the klm 0:17

  • the airtransat pilot did ana amzing job compare to every one else

  • I have a feeling that i was in that Monarch plane

  • wow turbulence of a330

  • to reply to Greenlovexo the white puffs on landing are rather blueishist in color and are tire smoke not so mucht due to impact as to the fact that these rather large wheels are not turning before touching the runway and then almost instantly are forced to rotate by the runway going by at maybe 150mph or more and they are heavy and take some amount of friction toget up to speed if small electric motors got those wheels turning before landing there would be no smoke but this not needed

  • It's amazing how the wind can toss something that big around like that. Gotta respect mother nature!

  • niiice bounce from the KLM lol

  • exelent i like this boeings

  • I love the Monarch A300! It's still in service?

  • @sartozzi78 Yes, they still have four, G-MONS, G-MONR, G-MAJS and G-OJMR.

  • Dont like the Thomas Cook 767 Livery.

  • i think its travelling to fast for that?

  • It is a sparrow, they're pretty notorious visitors at machester airport. The low FPM of the camera and the distance of the bird to the focused lens makes it appear faster than actually it is. The low FPM of the camera captures probably only 3 images of the bird, the faster it travels the less number of frames the camera captures.

Sparrows are known their speed and agility but the eye is able to capture more than a blurred streak. Good observation though!!!

  • umm.. anybody notice at 31 seconds the object fly under the plane.. please comment on this.. rod? any ufo people please comment? what is that?

  • Looks like a bird, seagull maybe.

  • supposidly straight up winglets improve short range efficiency, and raked winglets provide better long range efficiency.

  • Jesus that a300 at 0.46 I felt that

  • I think he should have aborted that with that winsheer, haha, it's mental

  • I love the Manchester airport - just hop on the train and in an hour you're in Wakefield Westgate.

  • i was on that first choice plane :)

  • cool ;)

  • why is it some planes like ryanair , thomas cook airlines have winglets on the end of the wings and easyJet doesnt ?

  • depends on the different version of planes or make of planes, they are mainly put on there for Aerodynamical reasons, the Airbus are normally two little winglets going up and down where the A330 and A340 and boeing have winglets that go straight up. The 777, 747 & 767 have now winglets on any versions where as the 757, 737, 787 etc, they either have optional or permanent winglets.

  • easy jet does... its standart on the baby buses (A318,19,20,21)

  • i liked qatar and bmi

  • Awesome video!!You know,Manchester International Airport is my favorite airport!!

  • perfect landing by air transat

  • good landing Monarch

  • where is at the airport did you do this

  • the airport is called Manchester International Airport ( i think ) .

  • Manchester Ringway International Airport

    (Is the full name)

  • It's Manchester Ringway Airport

  • I bet the traffic there is no match to Taiwan's Taoyuan airport lol.

  • When they land and the white cloudy stuff comes from bottom, is it the tires burning?

  • no the smoke is just the impact of the tires hiting the tarmack

  • wow that 737 looks very sexy 1:42

  • Birds at 5:20-uh oh.

  • when u take off in a 747 u cant feel a thing!

  • i'm sure you can..

  • I'll be going here to get on easyjet next week LOL.

  • thomson was a buetiful landing

  • That Air China 747 looked nice and heavy as it touched down. Bet it departs MAN light as a feather by comparison after dropping off its cargo of cheaply made goods and discount products!

  • Well done !

  • Thats Bollocks

  • so? What has that got to do with anything? I assume you're referring to the British Airtours 737-200 crash... that could have happened at any airport! It was the aircraft, not the airports fault! Remember the 743 crash just short of East Midlands? The trident crash, killing over 100 after takeoff from LHR? And Lockerbie? So say EGCC is unsafe now. We've had no accidents in the last thirty yearns.

  • Excellent footage, and very interesting too.. thnx for posting.

  • Been to that exact spot, if the wind is blowing across the runway towards you then you're often exposed to the smell of burnt rubber.

I prefer the viewing park though, and during non-summer times it can prove difficult accessing that route through the muddy pathway. But the hill rises above the fence giving you a clear view on 23/24R landings.

Viewing departures on 23L is also nearby, and allows spotters to view aircraft lining up.

Manchester airport is the best, stansted not so.

  • Canadian Pilots= Air Transat FTW!!!!

  • The Smoothest Landing in this vid was Air Transat

  • that first landing...ouch :D

    anyway, great movie

    5/5

  • The qatar pilot was fantastic!!!

  • @calcjr23 he was desending really fast hey but recovered it so well

  • @hammer3456 i don't know which comment u r answering. but i guess u mean that Qatar A330-200. Yes, because A330 and A340 are designed to flare at a low altitude above the runway.

  • @calcjr23 The A330 and A340 naturally lands gracefully due to it's genius Gear design..

  • brilliant video. excellent quality.

how do you get to the viewing park that is next to the runway you were filming on?

  • go down thorley rd opp term 2 its sing posted

  • can you film a cyprus airways a330 if u can. it goes to man but not that often. if u can??

  • do you know when they go to MAN?

  • @cyprussunizhot lol....... it goes to man when it feels like hahahahah
