I think its dumb to invest in companies with 80% market share. Even if their stocks have dropped, you are looking at only making small percentage gains with a large cash investment.
And he was speaking from experience! He birthed this country with worthless script, and the French were foolish enough to take it. Then the French had their own revolution, and their own paper money meltdown. Agreed, asset backed currecny is the only security, and there must not be fractional lending either.
This will take another revolution, not necessarily a violent one, because those who have been creating money want to keep their spoils
Goldman is buying the market up. The sign that that they are about to reverse their bet was already given when they 'forecast' that the S&P will go above 1,000. If Goldman says you must buy they are actually looking for someone to offload to. Don't play into their hands!!!
i am one of the 'consumers' that this economy has depended on. i am not spending a DIME; i am saving and paying off debt. and i would bet that alot of people out there are in the same boat. peter is right on young people do not have the money to spend right now.
The Bloomberg report suggests that the market—currently enjoying one of the greatest rallies in decades as stocks continue to rise from last years post-crash nadir—is about to have the rug pulled out from under it, a fact that corporate executives in the know are taking to heart as they scramble to get rid of their worthless stocks before the general public realize whats going on.
I would like to make a comment that I hope everyone reads:
I am a very level headed 24 year old man. I am VERY aware of the situation and I'm very nervous. Please, you NEED to make sure that you can live "off the grid" for at least a couple months.
Best Case scenario is you just have extra food and water~!

Paper money has had the effect to ruin commerce, oppress the honest, and open the door to every species of fraud and injustice.

I agree, I wish good luck to everyone because we're going to need it. I see through dennis deception and yes, we will enter a great depression.

Like Peter said the other week, his record of innacurate forecasting is in no trouble.

I think Dow dropping 2800 sounds very likely.
There are still bad news looming around that the media is ignoring.
In 2003, we had a double bounce before a recovery.
This would mean about a Dow 6000-8000. So if you got in at the lows.. I would just go on a vacation and not worry about this.
