Yes Melinda Duckett IS adopted,she was a Korean adoptee (meaning she was adopted from Korea) and she was born in Seoul,South Korea and was adopted by caucasian american citizens at 4 months of age,and spent most of her childhood in New York then moved to Florida when she was a teenager. :D
