I didn't hear that but that's good news to me. I'd rather them not make a movie about castlevania than make a movie about it and screw it up something awful.
@Shyguy825 If Konami is anything behind making one, then I doubt they'll go the Twilight route. Alucard is a dhampir, and Konami doesn't stay true to that other than that dhampirs kill vampires. Overall, if there were to be a Castlevania movie, I'd hope it's something similar to Van Helsing. Not the anime, mind you.
@bluetrancefer I have not seen the Van Hellsing movie, but I understand that it´s about a man who hunts vampires. And I agree that would be good if Konami would do something like that.
I've wanted to get this game for a while. I have to say, it looks good to me. The music in the opening definitely sounds good.
Also, Aeon's awesome. He's already my favorite character just from what I've read of the game. And yes, I agree, he looks like Near from Death Note... just, older.

@DoraCatBuu Actually, the game is good for the 1st... 3 months. After that, you begin to get bored because it's the same thing. It's nothing like the previous Castle games, it's just a regular figthing game one-on-one with no originality. The music Is extraordinary, but that's pretty much it. Sorry to disappoint you, but if you don't wanna waste your money, I suggest you don't buy it. I did and after a while, I was pretty disappointed.

The fighting system could be made better.

Not really. I would say there are other Castlevanias in the past were much worse, like Haunted Castle for example. This game is alright so far.
