@Maljanus most bands and music videos do that, even nowadays, mainly because most people dont notice, or dont care and they save camera memory/ film reel, like in the slayer angel of death video, when they are riffing, the film shows kerry king playing some crazy chaotic tapping, in led zeppelin song remains the same dvd, jimmy page is playing a slow soulful solo, and his fingers are going up and down the neck really fast.

I was one of the lucky ones at their last Hordern Pavilion (Sydney, Australia) show before their first tour of the US; they opened for Black Sabbath, who were huge at that time (early 70's).

They f'n mesmerised the crowd, most of whom had never heard of AC/DC and had come to see Sabbath, from the first second Angus wondered onstage in his uniform. Sabbath truly were all but booed offstage, no way on earth they could have followed Angus and Bon.

Remains the best hard rock performance I ever saw.

You know what. In either 1974 or 75 I was at school in Brisbane and the word got out that there was this hot new band jamming at Cloudland in the afternoon so we all rushed after school to see what was going on. It was incredible. There was this young lead guitarist who had to be followed by a roadie reeling his guitar chord in and out as he pranced about the hall. He ended up on the floor doing side cartwheels and playing. We were watching Angus young and AC DC being born. I die a happy man!
