@TR834534 i'm pretty sure all non-prescription contacts are bad for your eyes. Safety is worth the extra money. The eye doctor needs to measure your eye dimensions and stuff, so the contacts will fit your eyes correctly and not move around and SCRATCH your eye, causing blindes for some people.

I went for an eye appointment today cause I needed new contacts and I asked my mom the ask about colored ones, I always wanted them! My original color a really dark brown, almost black, and I've always wanted blue eyes so I got some! Surprisingly they are only like 5 dollars more then normal contacts and they are prescribed, 3 pairs, each for around 2 weeks, 35$ :) I love them!!

its actually illegal to sell non-perscription colored contacts for any street vendor (mall, gift shop etc) because they are not a cosmetic accessory, they are a medical devise. WATCH THE NEWS!!! there are a number of things that could go wrong, and you can lose your sight PERMANENTLY! i don't belive in fearing things, i just know that if you want to wear colored contacts, you need to get them from your eye doctor. if you don't you might as well save yourself the time and just poke your eyes out

OMFG. You guys. Brown eyes are sooo pretty though. I have them and all of my friends have blue and green. But I don't want those colors. The only color I want is purple. If you have 20/20 vision you shouldn't be wearing contacts. I'm not trying to tell you what to do or anything but my sister used to wear glasses for three years and her prescription stayed the same. Then she got contacts and within months her prescription dramatically got worse. We asked the eye doctor why that happened and he said that it was because her contacts were not allowing oxygen into her eyes, and yes ALL CONTACTS DO THAT!!! It doesn't matter what brand. Just saying...
