Today McCain stabbed the military in the back; he offered to balance the budget by cutting the pay and benefits of the military. The very class of people who have borne the brunt of sacrifice in these wars the last 10 years are now going to be told to sacrifice their pay and retirement to balance the budget. He is also keen to do the same with SS, Medicare and Medicaid. Easy targets the military, the poor and the elderly. I guess it's our fault for not saving more, for trusting our country
