From all accounts, Stuart did not want to leave the show. He was a victim of the head writer's (Guza) lust for blood during February sweeps. Fellow castmates and fans got so upset that they had to bring Stuart back as Ghost Alan.

thanks so much! I think that now Natalia is doing a great job and really enjoy her chemistry with stuart..but I think by far one of the best actresses ever on gh was AT and she by far deserved that emmy and or emmys and her chemistry with stuart was probably one of my favorite ever on the show =) thanks so much for this!

Amber's chemistry with both Stuart and Leslie was just awesome...Natalia was all right but IMO Amber WAS Emily.
