@RiverDaComedian umm no, this is not an RPG at all. This is not even bathesda's game. They didnt do that much, they helped build the engine (IDtech5) but thats about it. This game is an Action FPS with a few RPG elements.

Id and Bethesda have been doing games together for a long time, even looking at an old Doom 2 box would show that. Id made the game and Bethesda is publishing it, apparently Id is also working on Doom 4. I didn't read what the guy wrote you were arguing with said but I've argued the same thing on other sites where people were saying this looks like Fallout 3 and Bethesda made it. Id is a juggernaut and I'll bet this game will be phenomenal. And the engine will make Epic sweat lol.

@ashugtiwari I don't think, that you'll require a badass PC to play it on maxed settings. id Software is known for having the best programmers overall. For example: Doom 3 had much better graphics than Far Cry in 2004, but the system requirement for Far Cry was higher than Doom 3's. Doom 3 was a milestone in 2004 and it kicked Far Cry, what the system requirements belong in its ass. ;)

There are games created by Valve software which uses low end PC and still develop badass game with very nice graphics, even sometimes more than consoles. Man..., Its nice to hear Doom 3 kicked far Cry's ass. And its even great to hear that Valve, Id, Bethesda, Activision, EA, Ubisoft etc. still support PC, im a respectful PC gamer and steam user, and do heartful respect to these game developers.

This game was already in the making when Bethesda/Zenimax bought them.

ID software are the inventors of FPS games, I think they know how to make them.

John Carmack is a WELL known game engine designer.

I am happy though that ID is now with Bethesda, they are a great developer/publisher and NOT actitards or EA.

I only see some tech sharing at most.

But since Bethesda has their own new game engine they probably just use that one for any new fallout game.

The ID tech 5 engine is probably better suited for shooter games,unless RPG elements can easily be implemented and VATS and such.

In any case they are both very good and nice that they do work "together".
