  • OMG. I do get up early almost every day like today. It's not even 7 and since I couldn't stay sleep I just decided to brush up on some of my german style fencing, which I really don't get a chance to do because I study asian martial arts mostly.

  • Das ist toll! Gruesse aus Bulgarien! :D

  • Are the quotes from the same manuscript?

  • Excellent. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Venezuela.

  • Loved this!

Very atmospheric, the music is perfect. I liked the way elements of the live action were linked back to period depictions; very effective

Just for a second I felt something of what it might have been like to study under Talhoffer or one of the other great masters. Brilliant.

  • He was sleeping with his dagger in hand, just noticed that. Nice.

  • Unique!

You are the first that describe the "training" and the "way of life" of a "master". You have all my appreciation!

GREAT! And thank you very much for this video!

  • there's a new play in there i hadn't seen b4 - bound down by a krumphau - short edge parry expulsion of the next strike, and zwerch to the lower target underneath a zwerch. anyone know where it's from?

  • This is only a combination of techniques.

Nicely done. This is the kind of clip that is well-suited to visualize the serious medieval approach to fighting.

Good advertisment for HEMA and and a memorable way to supply background knowledge.
