There are scenes in this movie that are absolutely breathtaking. It's amazing what they were able to do at the time. However, I can't help but laugh at the "little dear one." What was she on?
@SnifflesMacGee I think "little dear one" means "little special one." She might need a helmet, a leash, and a mouth piece to keep her from eating her own tongue.
the movie set is in la noire.

I played Aaron Copeland music, any of it, with this film and it seemed to fit perfectly.

My all-time favorite movie. I loved Constance Talmadge in it!

The evening gowns were so pretty in the 1910s.

There was In Birth of a Nation...which is probably why Griffith made this one.

Well, this looks much better than the hideous Netflix DVD.

Great movie. I think the music doesn`t match with the movie at all.

Absolutely one of the greatest movies ever made!
I discovered it last month in Paris, when it was showed at the Theatre du Chatelet, in perfect conditions:
- A well restored copy
- The Paris symphony orchestra playing the "soundtrack".
In the end, some 1,500 spectators managed to be altogether on their knees and giving a standing ovation. I'll never forget this moment !

I like Griffith's movies.
Thank's very much for Part 1, 2, 3 and 5.
But now I'm still waiting for part 4 and I hope it's coming soon.
