Sure this song isn't one of his most deep (trust me, there are a LOT that are), but you have to take into account that he's basically being a smart ass this entire album.

The song is very nice, but it's true that the Rock'n'Roll album is his worst, not because of low quality songs, but because he made a lot of better albums with more meaningful lyrics and sound. Some people love this album because it's a pop rock album and it's easier to listen to, most people are not into country, folk, harmonicas and steel guitars that are very present in his other works.
