Even though some people claim as it is becaues there is a huge prostitution in Thailand but that doesn't mean it helps constitute the nation's major GDP because abundunts of natural beauty, historical sites, strategic landscapes actually let millions of people flood in, most of whom coming for vacation, business and luxurious leisure.
In fact, Philippines is not at all second to Thailand for its prostitution industry! Many women get lured to work in various brothels or many of them even agree to marry strangers, esp. Americans so that they could get their butt out of their existing oppressive country... Prostitution is the same phenominon everywhere in the wold -- Bangkok, Beijing, Tokyo, Moscow, Rome, Vegas, Buenos Ires, you name it! But it doesn't determine one country's prosperity...It is our better-off being that counts!

Manila is not that big! The skyline that you see is of Makati City which I think is even smaller than the whole Sukhumvit skyline of Bangkok. But it's skyline, indeed, very impressive which I have to admit because it is patterned after American style or of more westernized way of forming a city. Again, it is not that great and Bangkok always has a lot more to offer!

I like Manila and other major cities in SEA as much as I like Bangkok. Every city is different and each is unique and good in its own way. One thing I know is that I love ASEAN!
Thailand can only offer safari, beach, temples, aqua marine, diving and spicy food. Well of curse Bar Girls or Lady boys as what some tourist used to say. I can't fine anything in Thailand like industrial park like laguna techno park as example. But Thailand beach has nothing to say with boracay. If am not mistaken Phil has 7,ooo + island. Cebu is fantastic.
Not all Thai food are good for me sometimes i can't no longer taste the real taste of the food because all i can taste is the chili's. If i convert baht into pesos i can say it's more cheaper in the Philippines. Thailand is a perfect place to meet new people from other countries. There are so many people may comment good things about Thailand.
