Ma Young-jeou had practially re-instated marshall law in Taiwan, no one can display or carry flags, wear t-shirt with political slogan, play Taiwanese songs,....even people were peacefully voicing their disesnts This kind of behaviors is way out of bound. You are ccomparing apple to orange. Those protestors of past demonstrations under DDP government were attacking people with violent force. They were charged but what were the outcome? We have seen nothing out it for many years.
If the laws are to restrict individual's freedom of speech, why people have to obey them? Following the bad laws will never change them. Legislators, not the student protestors, must take up the issues to address and re-write the laws. I salute these students who have shown tremendous courage to speak out. They are the backbone of Taiwan's democracy.
You may check what Mr. Justice Roberts said in the opinion of the Superme Court(Hague v. CIO):
The privilege of a citizen of the United States to use the streets and parks for communication of views on national questions may be regulated in the interest of all; it is not absolute, but relative, and must be exercised in subordination to the general comfort and convenience, and in consonance with peace and good order; but it must not, in the guise of regulation, be abridged or denied.
Please note: "..it is not absolute, but relative....but it must not, in the guise of regulation,be abridged or denied." KMT tried every means to deny Taiwanese people to protest on the street. It's "in the guise of regulation" and violates the basic right of the people.
You should notice that there are many leaders of demonstration have been charged while DPP governs Taiwan. So not only KMT should be blamed for the bad law.
We can push KMT to improve the law, but we should not twist the fact and use this as an excuse to concoct conflict and disturbance of society.
unlike someone who is just sitting there at home writing negative comments just to please themselves, these people are doing whats right, they are giving up their time to give a message and hope the society will improve. If you just hope to live a comfortable life with just money in your head and not do whats right then don't come here and and show everyone how selfish your are.

You don't know what you are talking about. Everybody has a right to speak out. If their idea is worth of support, people will stand behind them. What's wrong with contributions offered by others?
If the major goal of this campaign is changing the law, the target should be the legislator or political party, not the government.
It's OK to accept donation, but the campaign should discuss and propose more solid opinion about the law.
If the campaign could not focus on the issue, and forward to the effective destination, but even just focus on the campaign itself, then it's abuse of the kindness of the society, and that will damage the campaign eventually.
Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irrsponsible action.

若學運的主要目標是修改集遊法,則對象應該是立法院或政黨,而不是政府.學生們應調整方向以免達不到目標.
人民有行動的自由,但仍要遵守交通規則:毫無限制的集會遊行絕對不是適當的做法,該如何規範須要妥善的研議.
請學生們專注在議題內涵,思考並提出主張.切莫只是為了辦學運而活動,如此反而損害了未來學運的空間.

台灣是多元民主的地方 我們應該學會尊重包容不同的立場與聲音 就算不認同對方 也應該理性的辯論而非使用暴力 同理來看 不論大眾認不認同 這些學生理性和平的提出訴求 對於台灣民主是有正面向前的力量 反觀那些為反對而反對 冷嘲熱諷使用言語暴力的人 你們才是最可恥的!

一群讀書讀到腦袋裝大便的大學生.有本事就去天安門抗議.警察會打人還不是抗議者在丟汽油彈.誰先開始使用暴力的.警察只是執法而已.今天換做你們去拿盾牌看看.看你被打會不會反擊.

"集遊法的修改"乃是國民黨在野時所提出的議題, 此議題也獲得了二讀通過, 但是就在國民黨執政以後卻又無下文了. 所以, 我們不禁要問: 為何國民黨在野時推出的法案包括陽光法案, 自己執政以後卻又不審了? 居心何在?

集遊法是該修改, 但是這議題並非這群"高級知識份子"可以壟斷. 學生想要關切社會政治議題值得鼓勵, 但還是要體認自己的角色與地位, 充實論述內涵, 廣徵大眾認同.
若這次學運流於一場自抬身價, 扭捏作態, 還需要外界施捨捐獻的團康活動, 就太可惜了!

You don't know what you are talking about. Everybody has a right to speak out. If their idea is worth of support, people will stand behind them. What's wrong with contributions offered by others?

If the major goal of this campaign is changing the law, the target should be the legislator or political party, not the government.
It's OK to accept donation, but the campaign should discuss and propose more solid opinion about the law.
If the campaign could not focus on the issue, and forward to the effective destination, but even just focus on the campaign itself, then it's abuse of the kindness of the society, and that will damage the campaign eventually.

這個訴求應該只是改成報備制吧
跟藍綠事實上沒關係
集會遊行本來就是人民的權利
所以報備制應該是ok的
但是也希望台灣人民可以尊重法律和人民
不要暴力
我們要的的是遊行集會訴求發生 而非暴力的訴求

再者報備制在特定情況下
依然可以用警察管制
只是管制方法和手段妥不妥當
而非採報備制警察就不能管制 這是不對的觀念
這世界上有哪個集會遊行到發生事情還無法管制
最後是否採報備制或是許可制
端看這個國家人民需要和種族條件
如果這國家人民很容易被刪動造成暴動 採取許可制較妥
反之如果這國家人民不容易的話 則採報備制較妥

好感動! 台灣真的變了! 警察也是台灣人但卻像個沒腦的機器 , 只會聽指示 , 活在台灣卻做著這樣踐踏台灣的事! 希望可以大家重視這些事情 , 不要陀鳥心態的躲起來,然後是後什麼都被拿走了,才在那後悔!

那些批評學生的人，總是說台灣警察比國外好怎樣怎樣的.....
那些批評學生的人是沒有大腦嗎??學生的訴求有關於一線警察嗎???先去把學生的訴求看清楚再來吧。啥都不知、不懂就在批評。一線警察很辛苦，但是在一線警察後面的指揮者、下令者，才是我們要譴責的，如果沒有後面的黑手，一線警察會去打人嗎??

可是當時~倒扁好像沒有丟糞跟丟汽油彈
也沒有騎車衝進保護區
當時倒扁的人更多...
其實不管是那一黨.現場失控就不應該這樣
事後也不應該多說一些無謂的話
大家應當保持中立.反對暴力
現在學生靜坐.我到覺得沒什麼不好
但是只要有暴力就必須追究到底
但是警察有權利可以驅離.竟然驅離無效.當然也有權強制驅離~知道當時從國際新聞看下去的觀感.就像是無政府狀態

前有野百合, 今有野草莓. 不過百合可以開好長一段時間, 草莓三天就開始爛了. 要使這運動能長期堅持, 建議改名為野椰子, 起碼可以保存一年. 野白菜也不錯, 可以放兩個月. 若小馬老劉蔡頭到時還是不屈服, 乖乖就範, 就加點料理, 變成辛辣韓國泡菜, 再跟警察在街頭對幹一場, 要全世界都明白: 天大, 地大, 學生最大的道理.
