Watching your fans from the east stand lower, (to the right of you) was more entertaining than most of the match.Think yourselves lucky, we have to put up with those stewards every other week. Thanks for making an otherwise shitty night, bearable. Good luck, Jonno, Bolton.
I was in the visitor's stands as well. When we scored a young lad jumped into the 'dead' zone and was 'met' by the stewards. After talking to a couple of cops I managed to convince them that he meant no offense or harm and they just ejected him from the grounds and dearrested him. He flew back to Greece that night.Thanks for the hospitality boys. the game left a bitter taste in our mouths, especially the way the final score came about.
(a) they were excellent, probably the best set of fans we've had at the Reebok (and I don't just mean in the UEFA, I mean in the 10 years its been open).
(b) the actions of the stewards and police were, as usual, embarassing. Apologies to anyone caught up in it.
