  • i only find 12volt dc cameras and transmitters for the audio and video how do you power that?

  • Saw a news story on Fox about FPV/UAV. I bet they are illegal soon in the USA. You could pack one with biological weapons or explosives and do some damage. Also a problem with full scale aircraft having mid airs with them.

  • @leafyP FPV flight is governed by the FAA and in accordance FPV pilots have flight rules. Its no different than being a private pilot.

  • What kind of plane is that?

  • OMG THATS SO AWSOME DO U HAVE A WEBSITE OR SOMTHING I WANT TO ORDER ONE!!!!

  • cooooooooooooolllllllllll

i want one of those in my work, do u manufacture ?

    or at lest sell'm ?

  • we are manufacturing long range UHF controls (Dragon Link) and On Screen Display with auto pilot (Dragon OSD Plus). We will work on a IMU and a improved/more stable head tracker that incorporates gyro, accelerometer and complex software soon.

  • wow, very cool- i am a computer engineering student, do you make these corporately or is this a personal endeavor?

  • what is the music

  • Coldplay - Clocks

  • Thats cool!!

  • can i contact you? would like to learn hot to make a similar set up?

  • jmstech.... google search me :)

  • Whats the range on the wireless camera control? same? how far away can you fly the plane from the controller?

  • 8KM with 8dbi pannel antenna on the ground. Maybe 15km with 14dbi pannel.

  • WHERE DO YOU GET THESE KITS???

  • we will be developing a 3 axis head tracker that does not drift like others. Should be the best on the market. :) JMSTECH

  • wats the song ?

  • "Clocks" by Coldplay

  • thanks

  • Sure no prob ;) BL hyperion P1919-4 Prop 6X4e ESC Hyperion 25A I've tried a few motors but this one is CNC machined and is very efficient, tons of power coz it is meant for helis :) I believe it pumps out over 3500Kv

  • Fantastic! what brushless motor (model/make/spec) did you set up your twinstar with? Can you climb straight up? How fast are take-off's? Signed - assembling my twinstar. Great setup btw!

  • Yes there is if you look at my video collection. Look for my "Spring Breeze" video. It's one of my old video I did 2 years ago. The newer head trackers has since been improved.

  • Wow - impressive set up.

Nice work. Any onboard video of a flight that shows the pan tilt view your getting in the goggles?

  • Congratulations, very good job! Can you please recommend a set-up for FPV? I would like to have a 3-axis head set. The one from Range Video operates in 3-axes or only two? Thank you for your help.

  • Most HT are only 2 axis. Range video is magnetic base therefore YOU MUST FACE NORTH at all time. You could try the original gyro based by rc-tech-dot-ch or try nghobbies-dot-com. Intelligentflight-dot-com is working on a better solution with both gyro and accelerometer for anti drift issues which most gyro base has not solved yet.

  • that... is so... EPIC!

  • does change how we fly RC now! :)

  • so do u have to be facing in the same direction as or dose it not matter ???

  • nope... any direction you wish!

  • Very nice! My wife is already complaining about the money I've spent on my Supercub/Flycam setup. She'll beat me over the head if she sees me looking at this. :)

  • HOW???????????????

  • It's gyro operated but it does have it's drawbacks like drifting. Intelligentflight dot com will have something better that will not drift and over all more stable. Just tell them JMSTECH sent you! :)

  • thats the coolest thing i've seen since sliced bread, which isn't even cool at all, unlike that camera, which IS!!!

  • Thanks Ikhdagb!!! :)

  • That's a sweet setup. I've been wanting to do that for years. I've got the same radio and several electric and nitro planes that I would like to try it out on. Can you tell me where I can get the vr goggles, camera setup, and video transmitter?

  • rangevideo dot com

  • nghobbies dot com ;)

  • I have the Twinstar with original motors and a 3000mah NiMh battery. I'm using a 500 mw xmtr and Sony camera. Do you use a separate battery for the wireless or use one battery for all. I separate what size battery do you use ?

    Thanks for any info.

    Lee

  • First of all Brushed motors..bad! They create too much EMI for our video transmitters. Secondly I separate my batteries on plane and video. The ESC again causes EMI or little ripples that sometimes leak back into our video system and causes horizontal lines. I use 2 BL motors on my Twin* and a 2200mah 11.1 lipo to power it. The camera and video TX, I use a 11.1v-800mah lipo with adjustable volt reg cause the A/V TX is 5 volt.

    Good Luck!

  • What head tracker are you using with your Futaba 9C?

  • Thanks Crashz, noticed it on your website :)

  • Great video showing how a Head-Tracker works.

  • Yes I remember that video of yours, very nice! I think we hang out in the same places so finding out about head tracking is easy! I just sent you a message! Also check out my new video "Spring Breeze", It will show more details of my set up. :)Happy Flying!

  • Great set up! I have the same Headset. Check out my VR FPV Video. First two stills of me wearing goggles. Noticed the foam around to cut out sunlight. Also won't fog up either.

Where do I get the headtracker. Also Pan and tilt for camera? check out my video. Under entertainment lvsupertech or vrfpvflyer. Lake mead Memorail weekend the best one. thatnk

  • Click on my "redkoi1" and watch my "Flight Over Avalon" video. You will see a better example of this in action, there you will see both props spinning during flight!

  • Amazing!

Do you have an input on your transmitter?

how do you comunicate with your cam controlls?

  • Head tracker pretends to be a buddy box. I set the trainer to only control channels 7 & 8 = pan & tilt. I fly with channels 1 to 6, turn on trainer switch at the same time and fly by video goggle. Audio (mic)/ video is transmitted & received via 2.4Ghz. It is then recorded by laptop with capture device. :)

  • is there a site where i can buy this? (the camera and the controller - not the plane)

  • Plane/servos/motor/esc/ $380.00

    Futaba Radio $520.00

    Camera $90.00

    A/V transiters $160.00

    Gyro $170.00

    Video Goggle $200.00

    batteries/charger $350.00

The wet feeling in my pants after witnessing a multiple roll then a dive through my video goggle: priceless!

  • hmm thats around 1272 euro.. well lets see im 15 years old... well I think I'd work for like 5 years (Also need to graduate) and maybe more :(

Wished I could some how win it :D

I live in Holland so well dunno if i can buy all that stuff around

  • how much did all of that cost...i own a typhoon 3d and am looking to put a camera on it?

  • interesting

is that a gyro in your hand?

If so what channel/ channels on the transmitter is used to send to the plane?

    thanks

  • Yes it's a gyro attached to my video goggle. Channels 7&8 on my Futaba 9CAP

  • link... please link mee

  • graba un video cuando lo vuelas...

  • sí en 520 resolución de líneas de televisión
