For a launch title, I'll give Red Steel its credit, it wasn't that bad. Sure better shooter games have come out for the Wii, but it was none other than this pile of (surprisingly) likable shit that planted the idea of how FPS's should be done with motion controls.

I really want to get this game. A lot of people say it sucks because of the controls, but I can obviously tell they forgot a little something called PRACTICE. Just because you were the god of all FPS games doesn't mean you were actually shooting a gun.

I'll bet that the people who hated this didn't play much past 20 minutes. I thought it sucked at first due to the unrefined controls, slow pace, and sword fights. However I got used to the controls and the game really picked up the pace and was very fun. Not to mention the graphics are gorgeous and the music is incredible. The sword fights though nothing like the actual were still fun. Obviously much of the game was still not done. For that it wasn't worth $50 but definitely $10 to $15.

Mostly because the controls are awful. ;-)

On my T.V, I can only move the wii-mote literally an inch in all directions, any more than that and it WANDERS badly. The only thing I disliked about the game was the controls. Also, cenrtering was not an issue, everything was adjusted for the good of the game, nothing. The game just inherently doesn't move well.
