  • @IkeMarthLinkNRoy 2 and 3 are already contracted. 2 is planned to be releases in 2014 in 4-D and 3 in 2015

  • Are You Outta Your JARHEAD MIND YOU CROSSED THE LINE. DUDE THAT RHYMED.

  • He was very believable.

  • 1:19 tha thing sounds like the t rex outta jurassic park

  • @GuitarGoddess150 It's because they recorded a t-rex to make the sound.

  • lmao, 1:18, jake growl, scary! xD

    raaaaah!!!

  • WTF was that for a rour at 1:17??Because in the regular not the one with new scenes the roar was WAY BETTER Thumbs up if you agree(People who seen th regular avatar

  • how can they interview that guy? He doesn't even exist. The general was not an actor, but he was 100% 3d graphics

  • ¿And wy they don´t make the halo movie?

  • fancy 3d graphics isnt all

  • Too bad Pocahontas is boring as fuck. Avatar is and always will be way better.

  • i think the one who does it first gets the credit when people keep doing it it starts to get redonedint

  • Eh... You gotta either love the movie or hate it... theres no way to it. I loved it... yet i didn't love Star Wars... Tron, etc... all movies are inspired by other movies... come on, people.. stop being so envious... it was well done... stop hatin... dont like it... there is a button on the top this screen that is a little red box with an X on it.. click it... theres your way out...

  • i love the movie.. really i loved it...

  • it wasnt a remake of pocahontas..if anything it was closer to Furgully

  • i hate the movie like really hate it

  • this movie is best movie ever :) i have bought the Avatar - Extended Collector's Edition box :D

  • @XalonewaitingKairiX but they didn't work hard. the money spent on this film was incredibly high. so much so that they had about 20 doing one mans job. it has amazing CGI there is no doubt about that, but Cameron just make a future pocahontas, which if they hadn't i may have enoyed it because i always found the disney pocahontas film boring anyway. my problem is movies nowadays focus to much on appearence and not enough on plot. Cameron was so lazy he just took Pocahontas and made it modern

  • it wasnt a remake of pocahontas..if anything it was closer to Furgully

  • @sexydevilian i think you mean "ferngully" and yes it is, visualy, but story wise IT IS POCAHINTAS... go and actualy search "avatar is Pocahontas" in google and then look at the images then its the exact same plot with Nouns changed. IE Native Americans = Navi. the new world (what america was reffered as) = the new world of Pandora. Pilgrams = RDA. Pocahontas = Navi chick (no idea what her name is) John Smith = Jake sully (notice the same initials, thats just lazy...) and so on and so forth...

  • Saw it 3 times

  • this movies is fucging amazeing just amazeing i saw it at my school and doing a work about it now

  • for you idiots who say"reality sucks", Avatar was an master piece movie, but...

you don't need a movie for experience the marvel of a jungle, alien-look animals and bugs and a tribe who has a connection with the environment. James Cameron himself said that he was inspired by all the wonders he already had the chance to experience and study for his previous productions. So I'd recommend you to get your asses out of your basements and get a life! quit your jobs and go for adventure! I did it

  • @sebastian2508 As much as i wud love to do that, I and many people can't!

  • Out the beyond that fence , every living thing that crawls , flies or squats in the mud wants ta eat yo eyez for jujubes

  • thumbs if you would be the humans and kill the blue ppl cuase guns rule

  • THIS IS NOT BEHIND THE SCENES????

  • @Curri3Saan it was a decent movie the story was very predictable you must say though

  • anyone else wonder wtf joojoobees are?

  • this story is pocahontas with dragons and CGI. read the summary of pocahontas.. it is almost the exact same storyline.

  • great, no, fantastic CGI. borring story.... which is a pitty...

  • @alexbarbour747 Great story, I disagree.

  • @Curri3Saan i like movies where at some point im on the egde of my seat, or a big twist in the plot. but there was none of that. it had a hollywood story line. the man pushes smaller people down, smaller people rise up and even against great odds win, oh and with a romance thrown into the mix. and talk about a cliche ending. he became his Avatar, wow who didn't see that coming? and one more thing, the Navi are the stupidest looking race ever. its like a cat shaged a monkey and then a giraffe

  • @alexbarbour747 Only from your point of view, in my view it was epic, beautiful and heartwarming. It had a fantastic message for humanity and told a brilliant story. Who cares about the amount of money used or CGI technology, it was used the RIGHT way and for a brilliant movie! This is my point of view (along with millions of others), and you can't call them stupid, they are beautiful to me. Didn't the Pilgrims once think of the black people as stupid looking? Hasn't humanity progressed by now?

  • @Curri3Saan lol... im hardly being racist towards navi.. they don't exist. i think brutes in halo look stupid aswell, oh no call the RSPCA. and i said the graphics were amazing, but too much money was spent on it. i don't have any problem with people liking the film, it was just too obvious and boring for "me"

  • @alexbarbour74 TO QUOTE YOU " ( about the film avatar) i don't have any problem with people liking the film, it was just too obvious and boring for "me"

    * What is most sad is your lack of imagination. That is a colorless world. My sister is like that. She cant watch a movie more than once. She really misses out.

  • @TrinketStarFire oh i have an imagination. but this just bored me. i love most Sci-Fi and fantasy films, books and games. i have read each Terry Pratchett book atleast once, and have played Mass Effect to death for its in depth history, species and planets. and don't even get me started on Halo. but thats just my opinion. i like to see Epic battles for great struggles, not a battle i know the outcome of instantly.

  • @alexbarbour747 No you don't, if you did, you'd realize the meaning of this movie. Think about it this way. This is the retelling of Pilgrams and indians, or Cowboys and indians, in present day. Cowboys come on unknown land, and try to take whats not theirs, which belongs to the indians. Instead though, this time the Indians end up winning against unimaginable odds and take back their land, so to speak. It's brilliant.

  • @TheKarnival1 the meaning is to make easy money, just like the meaning of justin bieber. search Avatar is Pocahontas and look at the images, theres plot of Pocahontas with a few Nouns replaced. it is not brilliant, it is a dull script, all they have done is make a Space version of Pocahontas. if i rewrite the beauty and the beast as the Beauty and the sangheilian, add in some special effects, some famous actors and BAM i've made a master piece? i think not...

  • @alexbarbour747 Alright if you dont like it, you dont have to say anything about it ;/

Whether or not this movie is like Pocohontas a little bit, it doesnt mean this movie ISNT a masterpiece. As long as its not totally alike. Besides, it could be coincidence. Or maybe Pocohontas could have inpsired this too. I dont know, I'm not James Cameron. But many things in this world inspire upcoming things.

Im not gonna to argue with you.Just saying. At least I know I realize how hard they worked on this

  • @ProjectDecade hehe

  • @ProjectDecade No he said God Damn if you read his lips you'll see that. What happened is they cleaned up the language and substituted Jarhead for this probably made for TV special.

  • Probably just because jarhead mind sounds lame.

  • i just finished watching it it was amazing i tryed to explain to my dad how they make it and all he thought it was make up so i showed him a video and he totally gets it now BEST MOVIE EVER they make such a good couple and the mating part was alittle werid in the movie but what ever wach it

  • Pocahontas in space... Woop de' Freakin' doo'.

  • @yangdog55 i couldnt stand the movie at all

  • @thesantabros45 why?

  • apa mungkin film ini memang diacuhi jempol

  • After watching this movie, i can't even look at Stephen Lang without pure hatred, even if he was just doing his part in the play.

  • @lotrrules3434 is stephen langs face has a scare for reaL?

cos i though it was just made up for the movie

  • @indirulz1234 No it's just for the movie, but when i see his face it makes me mad.

  • this is my 2nd fav. movie. next to The Phantom of The Opera

    Neytiri:Nar'i

    Jake:Nawri

    Neytiri: Na'ri!

    Jake:Nawri

    *bitch slap*

    Neytiri:Nar'i

  • jake is sooooooooooooooooo hot in his avatar :DDD

  • this movie was only good cuz of 3d

  • @bajs47m16 uh , I watched it without 3d and it was still bloody good mate

  • I watched this movie to the end and when the menu camed up, U know what i did? I pressed play after wathcing the movie one time.

If you have not seen this ur missing out something AMAZING!

  • @Tabe112 i wouldnt call it perfect and no ones missing the story has ben done a lot like in

pocahontas the story is basicaly this wight guy gets indian people to trust him then gets to

like the indians and knows what he was doing is wrong then the bad guys attack them then

he gets blamed then he gets them to fight them and they all win in the end

  • I thinks its really long, but when I finished watching it they want it to be long.

  • @Tabe112 yeah, you're mssing a movie that cost 1 million a minute plus some actors' pay.

Plus heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps of CGI

oh, and let's not forget, a disney scenario that took 10 years to write.

  • i love this movie :]

  • i watched this movie and it wuz AWSOME!! i luved it so much i want it on DVD

  • jake sully is awesome!!! sad whith that crash hes a awesome avatar!!!

  • Best Movie on this planet!

  • @hulkansen not only this planet, but also on Pandora.

  • the music in this movie really sucked ass

  • Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) is SOOO HOT! <333

And his soooo cute as an Avatar!

  • @ILovahAvatar i know so how

  • So cool

  • Wth? Did I just say African Americans? I meant Africans lol...epic fail :D

  • And I wish that every1 would not blame white people for slavery. Cuz I'm not racist at all :) and as a matter of fact when slavery first began in africa, African American tribes would take over other tribes, use them as slaves, and then sell them off to the white people. I actually learned this a few weeks ago in civics class

  • I love this movie with a passion :D

  • If you look at their face they have facial features are of a Black person, look close at the lips, listen to their voice and the are look at their hair. The Native Indian is there also, look how the ride that thing that fly like a bird, the WAR cry they makes when at WAR. Both sides of my people are strong and Im happy they did such a thing bring them together like this because we are one. Lots of American dont want to talk about the Indians and Blacks lived together as a family in the past.

  • @MsCuriousCat yeah they do look like black people. the blue skin was a dead giveaway

  • When I saw the movie I thought " these people are Black Americans and Native Indians" my real people WOW! ... The story line was created base on what happen to the Natives and what is going on in Africa today. There are White people there taking land there and trying to control the Africans there in Africa. One guy a "KKK" member lost his life trying to conrtol the African family...they KILLED him DEAD. True store read the net.

  • It was good..but not my favorite movie.

  • I've been watching this stunning movie 3 times in a row today!!! What a wonderfull world, you just feel nostalgic when it comes to the end. It makes me dream! Congratz to James Cameron.

  • Ju Ju Bi's?

  • this movie is my new all time favorite movie.

  • @4ever2bestfriends this movie is my new all time favorite movie. Pandora is so beautiful. i saw this movie and suddenly realized how much reality sucks. id so much rather live in/on pandora.... only if it were all real... maybe it is off somewhere in the really far distance... im weird yes. but dont make fun of me. i can wish/ dream....

  • @4ever2bestfriends you're not the only one lol

  • @4ever2bestfriends U r not the only one dude xD

  • @4ever2bestfriends i feel exactly that same man, one day thoug, one day virtual reality will come and we will be na'vi and we will eat the fruits of pandora!

  • @4ever2bestfriends I have to agree there. Some day, we will find a Pandora. Hopefully.

  • @4ever2bestfriends The sad thing is that while we are enticed with virtual realities that seem better than our own, the actual reality out there crumbles. As stunning as the movie is it should not turn us away from our world but inspire us to engage in it... It's not written in stone that we must be like the humans in the movie, we could be more like the Na'vi if fought for it.

  • @DonVoghano we cant be more like the Na'vi because 1. we dont know th language. 2. we arent supper tall and blue. and 3. we aint as cool as them.

  • @4ever2bestfriends Have you ever seen the documentary called Planet Earth? Watch that, and you'll realize that reality really doesn't suck after all. Reality inspired James Cameron to make this movie in the first place. The purpose of Avatar was to remind us of how beautiful our own planet is, and how we must protect it with the same fervor and passion that the Na'vi do. Pandora is real, and it's right here in our own backyard...if we know where to look.

  • @blatherblather1 yes but the people suck :P

  • @4ever2bestfriends yea bro the universe its SO BIG that there MUST be a place like pandora , in fact earth was like pandora a million years ago.

  • You and I suffer from Pandora Depression - the sadness and despair you feel after watching "Avatar" and realizing that Pandora, the Na'vi, the Ikran, the Toruk and the floating mountains are all fictional. In the words of Jake Sully, "It doesn't matter how beautiful your dreams are, sooner or later, you always have to wake up." It's true. It doesn't matter how beautiful a film is, sooner or later, you always have to get it out of the DVD player. :(

  • @SpaceWineTV I " suffered from Pandora Depression " the first time i saw this movie , i just HAD to see it again and again. after almost a year my depression was like almost over , i mean i still would give my life to live in pandora but i wasnt like sad because i could not.

BUT today i went to see the special edition in 3d and guess what , the depression is back again , maybe not as strong as last time and i dont think this one will last too much , but still its very sad dude

  • @Apache3619 I know what you mean...after I saw AVATAR for the first time I couldn't cope w/the fact that it wasn't real....then, when I found out about the 3D re-release I just had to go watch it...I didn't care that I was the only one in the theater...to me, it was everything...

  • @SpaceWineTV u wont be the only one in the theater trust me , the special edition have been like 2 weeks here where i live and yersteday when i went there were like 70 people !

  • @Apache3619 lol that's cool to see that people over there still like the movie...but over here where i'm at there was no one at the theater when i went...just me and the jujubes...

  • @SpaceWineTV That's the spirit !

  • @4ever2bestfriends There is evidence that one or more Earthlike planets may actually reside in the Proxima Centauri stargroup, 4.3 light years away. That is well within reach of our most cutting-edge technology.

  • @4ever2bestfriends Avatar was an master piece movie, but...you don't need a movie for experience the marvel of a jungle, alien-look animals and bugs and a tribe who has a connection with the environment. James Cameron himself said that he was inspired by all the wonders he already had the chance to experience and study for his previous productions. So I'd recommend you to get your ass out of your basement and get a life! quit your job and go for adventure!there is a world beyond your ugly city

  • @sebastian2508 yeah, video games.

  • @sebastian2508 Well, it looks like I dont need to say anymore x'D

Thanks for putting it out there ;)

  • @4ever2bestfriends and we the real human just relax as we destroy pandora....

  • @4ever2bestfriends .... Snap , you made my Cry now

  • haha i've always loved 1:06, ''You crossed the line''

  • hes voice is rad

  • /watch?v=TZqcogH-FTQ

    AVATAR SPEEDPAINT !

    RATE AND COMMENT :)

  • i WATCHED IT ON MY LAPTOP, NOT IN 3D, AND IT WAS STILL AN AWESOME FILM WITH A CAPTIVATING STORY. I TELL PEOPLE WHO AREN'T INTO THIS GENRE OF FILM THAT IT IS A BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY AND THEY SHOULD WATCH IT FOR THAT REASON, IF NOT FOR LOVE OF ANIMATION AND SPECIAL EFFECTS.

  • Ok, seriously.

Did anyone get why they where mining unobtanium in the first place?

  • At least I didn't get what they where going to do with it.

  • @mackay0231 Unobtanium is worth in the billions and and in the time this movie takes place, the worlds economy is horrible. Humans need it to survive.

  • @fleaninja Ok, so according to you they go to another planet, wich in the movie takes 6 years, to get some rocks, then bring it home, wich means another 6 years in space, only to balance the economy? Ahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Seriously?

That what you think? And how are some rocks going to help? Did they plan to sell them as souvenirs, because if they actually wher going to do that to balance the economy it probably wouldn't work.

  • @mackay0231 well it's kinda like gold in silver. And it's also a need for energy on earth and its a must for interseller travel. So creating power plants means jobs and working in them means jobs, people have to spend money to go to school for those jobs, and ships are needed to be built because of the supply and demand scenario....soooo there will always be a job for the average man, engineer, millitary, teachers, and others.

  • @fleaninja I know, but they never say any thing about that in the movie so that is a bit hard for me to know...

just one little question: if unobtanium is a must for interstellar travel, as you said, then how did they get to pandora in the first place?

  • @mackay0231 the rocks sell for 20million a kilo

  • @55AllOut You don't say? That doesn't really explain why they can sell it at a such high price, does it? Because I don't think they would make that 6 year flight through space just to get some rocks that they can sell as souvenirs. But who knows?

  • @mackay0231 its an energy souce, you need to have been on the website before the movie was released, for most people who watched the film its not an issue, they just know that it sells for 20M a kilo, and thats good enough for them

  • @mackay0231 probably with ships running on earth based resources, might have taken longer to get there of course. They probably found the planet by satalite and found out that with proper equipment it could sustain human life. Then they propbably built ships that could make the travel to get to Pandora. Then coloization comes in and then mining scenario begins.

  • @mackay0231 As the nerd that I am, I have a book that explains that trans-continental transit systems on earth built by the RDA (the people mining on Pandora) require huge amounts of energy. As Avatar seems to suggest, it is likely that Earth's resources are very depleted, and a discovery of potential resources on Pandora, compelled the company to get the unobtanium. Think of it as very very efficient and expensive oil.

  • @lost2darkness That was just Cameron being shortsighted though. Unobtanium ain't the same as oil. It is a room temperature superconductor with no electrical resistance. A thing like that could revolutionize Human technology as a whole. It could deliver a swift end to the ongoing energy crisis and so on, including making space travel cheap and easy. In a manner of speaking, it is the holy grail.

  • Great video...I can feel the euphoria.watch it at freemoviehq . o r g

  • Forget the indigenous, Humans rule!

  • it stays freaking awesome, i would leave my computer to come there!

  • I liked the movie.. But my expectation was high.. I went this movie twice.. I am just audience not producer..

  • i bet you couldnt make all those sound effects!

  • I am talking about explotion of bombs..

  • @yekrut8 how would you make the sound of an exploding bomb then?

  • Yes I know I can do better..

  • im gonna eat your eyes for joojoobees

  • i bet the sequel won't be so good, because everything interesting about it is in this movie. but if u think of the sequel to transformers, it may not be so bad.

btw, jake doesnt say are you out of your jarhead mind, i think he says damn instead of jarhead

  • there will be a second movie, so far its planned as a trilogy :)
