I don't think the Invaders were Russians, they looked more Asian in the movie, but maybe the book had Russians i don;t know, i haven't read the book yet. Nice drawings by the way mate. :D
@anzaclegend11 The reason why we had the enemies look Russian is because how we set back the war to take place in 1984-85 when the russian was still communist, and it made sense that russia would invade Australia for its resources and cause its far away from the other allied western powers like Britain and France and USA. so the NATO is like a combination of US, British, and Australian forces, and the USN (United Soviet Nations) is Russian Chinese and Arab countries.
awsome must i say you are a very talented artist, love the aussie class especialy the FN FAL (AKA SLR) there is one thing though, you left out the australian defence force with AUG F-88 Styres =D i guess that class would not be too different from nato though, same appearance just different weapons, AUG F-88, M4, mini para (LMG), MP5, SR-28 (sniper) i think armour M1A1 Abrahams, ASLAV APC, anyway nice job thumbs up
@Gam3rzulu yeah we were thinking that the nato is made up of the US New Zealand and Austrailian forces we didn't want to many factions that were basically on the same team. GOD is a mercenary group that attacks both the Russians and the allies
@zylawyrk awsome i think GOD would be a nice twist in the story line, like trying to think why they are in australia, you know, with the movie being released maybe you should send some concepts in to the makers of the movie hey they might just release that game
Actually I'm from Italy but I bought the Tomorrow series on Internet (they haven't translated the books in italian, unfortunately) and I truly loved them.
It's an hard question, to be honest, you know? I love them all for different reasons, the first one because it's the beginning of this wonderful story, John Marsden portrays Ellie amazingly, I especially loved when they found out they've been invaded.
A very emotional part. The second one is amazing too, but probably my favourite one is the third one, The Third day, the Frost. Robyn's death was so sad but it was the best way for her to go, I reckon. I loved also how Ellie described Corrie's death in Darkness be my friend. The truth is that I found all the books very well written and it's hard to think about a favourite one.
Maybe the only one I didn't enjoy as much as the others is The Night is for hunting. I seriously wanted to skip the first 40 pages! But then it improved a lot.
Also, I found The Other Side of Dawn a great ending. I reckon it was realistic. It felt sad about them going in separate ways but it was so brilliantly written that I understood JM's choice.
Ive read While I live. not nearly as good. like it had a different writer. too slow and depressing. The Other Side of Dawn was the best. Good momentum and balance. Ellie was a beast in it too.
