They lie about his birth.
He was supposed to have been born during a census.
SURPRISE!!!
According to saved Roman files all census in Roman Empire took place March - September and suggested months were August and September so as people can travel under good weather!!!
2000 years ago the Winter Solstice was on the 25 December this is why all Gods related to sun (ex:Apollo) had their birthday then. It was a big celebration for all religions and Crhistians had to beat it.
