No they just were freezing because of the cold blowing wind at Salisbury Plain. Seemingly John was making jokes about Paul trying to keep serious and professional 0:31 then there are the famous scenes of freezing George 0:34 and freezing Ringo 1:59. The Beatles themselves help with the production of the songs in mono all the way up to the white album and oversaw what they heard and happened in the mixings but they didnt stay for the stereo or help with the stereo mixes of the music and it was first done in mono and then later the "fake stereo"

All of The Beatles recordings were done on a four track up until midway through the recording of the White Album when Abbey Road Studios finally had eight track tape machines installed. The only Beatles tracks never mixed into true stereo were "Love Me Do", "PS I Love You", "She Loves You" and "I'll Get You". The master tapes for those songs were discarded before real stereo mixes were made.

@DigitalShark99 The earlier Beatles track recorded in 1962 and most of 1963 were also recorded on multitrack. All of those were recorded on a two track stereo tape machine, but in twin track form. The backing track was recorded on one channel while the vocals were recorded on the other. George Martin recorded those early tracks that way to get the best mix in mono rather than mixing live to tape. Stereo was an afterthought. That's why many of those early songs have that odd stereo balancing.
