@hit268 From what I understand you must own the original cartridge. Emulators are legal but I also here that the roms are not. Yet there are many sites from which you can download from and they haven't gotten shut down. Really I wouldn't worry about it. Just don't try to sell them.
@hit268 If your on 6.20 then you can use the HEN and skip the long process. You'd click on the HEN and it will take you back as if nothing happened and that's it. It's in one of my newer videos with a link for it. You will no longer need Patapon or HBL but it's only for 6.20 ofw. It also gives you PSX/ISO/CSO support.
@fredddy5678 Yes I could but it is risky on any model and more so on the Go. Also there isn't a downgrader from 6.37. It's from 6.31/35 from the last I read. Plus 6.37 doesn't have HBL or ISO loaders.
@323GONZALEZ I wish I did. I have tried so many times to get that rom to run but it never does. I want to play that on my psp myself but so far you can't. You can run it on MAME for your computer but thats about it for now.
@thesunhurtsmyeyes If you didn't use my link for Patapon, then you may have a patched version of it. Your firmware is higher than 6.20, or you didn't install the files correctly. Those are your options.
@KyuuuubiNaruto3 Yes it does. Tested myself and it brings back some old memories. It runs a bit slow so you will have to set frameskip to 1 and audio to lowest quality which isn't bad anyways. Also clock speed to 333mhz. After that it played really well.
oh, i was also wondering: My psp sometimes had to reset, but it made this loud popping sound. I had this with other stuff i tried before aswell, and it happened quite often. But what is this sound? Does a "popping" reset like this damage the psp in any way?
@Vengeance19 What OFW, Model, and Version of HBL are you on? Are you on the Patapon Demo Exploit as in the video or maybe HSGOT Exploit? I do know that 6.20 with Patapon is the best compatibility so far but it's even better with the Go model. My friends have the 3000. In 4-8 days a HEN will be released so don't update as this may end up being better for you. Check wololo(dot)net for info on that.
@jlo138 uhm, im on 6.20, used revision 107 and used the patapon demo shown in your video. What it is this new HEN? Is it still this trick with the egg pics, or did they updated it in using patapon or something? Im not really fond of cfw, but maybe this HEN is worth the try again, thanks!
@jlo138 I had no zipped files, but maybe a SFC. rom could be the culprit.
I also had this auto-up-scrolling stuff. Had to hold the R button to scroll fast enough to accept the license stuff ^_^. But now I tried a very recent revision (109 or something), and that seemed to fix everything. Some games run great like mario all stars, but castlevania 4 is really choppy. (except when the sounds at "Not emulated", but then again, thats playing without sound '-_-) But its a psp 3k, and it works
@reggiardito The HEN isn't out for nearly weeks for 6.20 users. Plus this method works on ALL psp models with up to 6.20 and 6.30/31/35 are also working using similar methods.

@batyoung You may need to adjust the psp clock speed in the emulator to 333mhz and even frame skip to 1. This solves most of the issues on each emulator but not every game for each emu I may add.
@SUPERKAKOS5 Just follow my instruction in description or watch my other how to on this. If your asking how to update to 6.20 there is no need to. If whether it will work for you then the answer is yes.
@SUPERKAKOS5 Most likely you placed the HBL folder and H.BIN file into another folder. It goes in MS:0. Open your memory stick and place them there. Not into any folder whatsoever. The HBL folder stays as is so don't remove the contents of that one. Its the most common problem causing your result.
@sideswipebm No, but there is one if you have Hot Shots Golf PSN or UMD. It's in the working stages but is runs some emu's right now. Go to the Wololo website for more info.
@gamer123630 You have to copy the hacked save data to your psp first. Then it will ask you to save and you say no. Then it will say continue without saving and you say yes. Go to continue and load your hacked save file "wololo's return" it will be titled.
hey cool video quick question i dont know if someone has asked this yet but im a little confused when it comes to psp go hacking does this allow you to play iso games ?
@lolzham Nope. I heard it wasn't possible since this is user mode but at the same time I also been hearing that other developers are trying to add this in. So currently no. If they are then you won't hear about it and if they have you would of heard about it already. They will try to keep it on the down low if anything at all is being done. This way Sony doesn't ruin it with an update or patch. So here we all are waiting.
@lovegod4 I checked on the website and Wololo stated that it will not run PS1 games. That it's not made to do that, and that it can't be made to do that. Also he said he doesn't like piracy. Other teams are either working on it, have done it, both, and likely will not release it from what I've read.
@lovegod4 Hopefully. Also I posted a new video for Daedalusx64 Emulator not in the all in one link. It runs Mario 64 quite well. It's a different N64 emulator than my other one. I haven't checked any other games. I posted a link for it on that videos description. Check out that vid an emu.
@lovegod4 It's the same one as before just with some other emu's included and new revisions. The old one had R79 and the new one has Revisions 95 and 97. But the saving has always worked for me. So YES it does, and apparently it doesn't work for you. Not sure why... It's the same GBA emu as before. Sorry if I sound rude, I don't mean it that way.

@enchilada234 Sweet! It works, I just had to use R95 as it doesn't work with R79 like I have been using for a while. I wish I could play The Simpsons arcade 4 player game still. It doesn't run on Mame, FBA, or the CPS2.

@TheKeybladeWar Nope N64 is mediocre at best. Supposedly the one game that runs the best is Mario 64. Still kinda laggy on most games though. some don't run either. And no ps2 emu's. No ps1 emu's either. But to get better emulation on N64 you must disable the audio. It should be already by default.

@lovegod4 When saving properly it will show you a time and date in the emulator menu. To check if it works, open the game you saved and then load your save state. It will load exactly where you saved it.
@lovegod4 When you go to save it, does it show a thumbnail picture of the frame you saved it at? I have to ask this also...how much free memory do you have? If your down to only KB, then you should delete something to get a few MB freed up for saving purposes. I'm asking random questions because I don't know why your having this problem.

@lovegod4 I honestly don't know what's wrong. Every rom I used on it I was able to save. Is the rom in zip folders? If so try removing them out of the zip folders. You clearly have enough space so I really don't know.

No it doesn't its been patched, it doesn't work the demo just says corrupted, the only thing that is not corrupt is the save file, I am on 6.20 psp 3000, and am telling you this doesn't work anymore, am getting so pissed off I might just get a DS it seems easyer to do these things.
@steve5123456789 I have a PSP Go and I have ofw 6.20. I just played NES the other day. If you download MY LINK then the demo has not been patched. I provide everything you need in one single link. IDK where you got your files from but mine work. It's up to you what you want to do.
@thessj1gogeta Press "R". Anyways it's probably because you placed the hbl and h.bin files somewhere else other than the root of your ms. Don't place them in the MP_Root folder or it will crash like you say. I have another video showing the process just check if you need help. If using the Go make sure it's all in the internal memory and not the M2 memory stick.
@thessj1gogeta I have seen some videos showing that you can downgrade your firmware from 6.20 to 5.00 M33-6 but I can't confirm this whether it's real or fake. I'm not sure if it was for the 3000 or not. Most videos exclude the 3000. I have a 1000 with CFW but I bought it on Ebay with it.
@thessj1gogeta There is a DS emulator but it runs suuuupeeeer slllloooooooooowwwwww. Like 5fps. So I don't suggest looking for one yet or thinking one is ready to play roms at full speed. There is MAME and Sega CD. I made videos for them and links for the emu's. Not many roms for Mame though and sega cd roms are large files. But Pico Drive runs the sega cd roms.
@steve5123456789 You have to run Patapon 2 Demo first. The emu icons will say corrupted just clicking on them. Run the demo and it works, unless you have ofw 6.30 and above then it don't.

@degrommeisterug I honestly don't know. Supposedly it's already out but I also read that it was a fake so I really don't know. Then the guy behind all the CFW left the scene and was supposedly payed by Sony to stop producing CFW. But also he was going to remain in the scene anyways, so I'm not sure. Search Dark Alex here and you may find some info. He's the man behind the PSP CFW. HBL won't let us play iso's either. We'll have to wait for CFW, if ever...
ok,i got sooooo far just there,i was installing Patapon2 and at the end I hit the R button and it freezes and when i click a game it says file corrupted.i put the hbl folder in the MR_ROOT folder,my psp is PSP-2000 With custom firmware 6.20? I've been trying the past year to download games to my PSP and this seems to be the only video thats gotton at least something to work.all the other tutorials just blabbed on about getting something called custom firmware which i think i already had!
@fgv112 Take the hbl and h.bin if you did that one too OUT of the mp_root folder. When you open your memory stick, thats where you place the files. Don't place them in any folder. It's called the root of the memory stick not mp_root folder. Once you do that it will work and not freeze. Your firmware isn't custom either. It's just 6.20. If it has M33 or something like that after the numbers then it would be. Soon as you open your memory stick place them there. Nowhere else or it won't work.

@fgv112 The root isn't a file. When you see your memory stick using a computer and you open it to see what's inside it, that's the root. It's the very first thing you see when you open your memory stick. It's called the "root" of your memory stick because you do not go into any folders. You don't look for anything called root. MY COMPUTER>MEMORY STICK> double click and open it. Now place the files there.
@jlo138 sorry still isn't working,i got that screen to come up but when i clicked select it just went back to the main menu of the psp,I tried playing uo_Snes9x for PSP 0.02y24 and all the others but it as usual came up saying This game cannot be started.The data is corrupted.Can u help?

@frogzrus1 It's actually not a "hack". I didn't create this method either, I found it online and placed much work of testing emu's and downloading them and just placed them into a single link for you guys/girls. It was a single link until I found two more that work...It's does actually work, it just isn't a hack because it doesn't need CFW to work. It works with OFW up to 6.20. It's HBL for HomeBrew Loader.
@brohan900 Did you place in the root of your stick or the MP_ROOT folder? Make sure its not in the mp_root folder. If using psp go, make sure it's in the internal memory and not the M2 Memory stick. If you have ofw 6.30 it doesn't work either.

i have downloaded all of these and all have worked. but can u tell me how to add roms to FBA? i also have a CPS3 emulator on my psp with street fighter 3rd Strike, but again i don't know how to add roms(Street Fighter came with the CPS emulator). I really want to play x-men vs street fighter...
@shadowjesse626 Extract the roms and place them in the roms folder of the emulator. If no roms folder is there, then just place in the emulator folder. You can go to rom-world(dot)com and find roms there if thats what your asking.
@jlo138 well i downloaded the x-men vs street fighter rom but its zipped. do i put the zipped file in the roms or do i unzip it and then put in the roms folder? its a lot of files in the zipped file. it goes like this "xvs.01, xvs.02....." and it goes on until #20. some of them have a letter D at the end.
Hey i downloaded the file and used ur tutorial and it worked great but theres just one thing, super mario world plays really slowly. i havnt tested any other games but im gonna assume they play slow as well. I am using a 16 gb memory stick for my psp 3000 and i put alot of movies on it, could that slow the roms down?
@Matman1110 No it won't. Hit analog to the left to bring up the settings menu. Adjust Clock Speed to 333Mhz, Frame Skip to 2 and you should be running regular speed.
The super nintendo and genesis EMU is working fine. I cant get anything in the NES folder to work. When i load the Nester EMU it doesnt show any ROMs in it. But when i connect to the computer it shows the ROMs you included in the download file. Any ideas
@e10pvmt Because by default the emu doesn't have you directed to the roms folder. You have to browse your PSP folders and find the roms folder under nesterj and open the folder to see the roms. I believe you only have to do this the first time and then it remembers. For GBA, you have to do it everytime. If no roms folder (I don't rememer) then the roms are located in the emulator folder.
@jlo138 i did navigate to the folder on the psp and it still shows empty.....all i did was copy your folders over....maybe i will try and recopy the nester folder over and see how that works.....also what file formats do the ROMs need to be....i see your are .nes but i have seen others that are various file formats? Does it depend on the emulator? and if so what do the emulators you provided need?
@e10pvmt They are all .nes for Nesterj but you must remove them from the zip folder if they are in one. If you download any from any site they will surely be in a zip folder. If you copied the whole thing over then it should be in there. I removed the zip folders on the ones I provided.
@Rilley305 You can download them an try em if you like. I tried an R14 for Daedalus but it didn't work. It wasn't specifically for HBL. But yeah, you can as long as it's for HBL method. Daedalus is the worst one. I've read that some were considering making an N64 Emu specific to one game like say mario 64. Because each game is so different in the emu and with all the bugs it would be easier to make seperate ones for each popular game.

@gamer123630 You have to copy the hacked save data to your psp first. Then it will ask you to save and you say no. Then it will say continue without saving and you say yes. Go to continue and load your hacked save file "wololo's return" it will be titled.

@lolzham Nope. I heard it wasn't possible since this is user mode but at the same time I also been hearing that other developers are trying to add this in. So currently no. If they are then you won't hear about it and if they have you would of heard about it already. They will try to keep it on the down low if anything at all is being done. This way Sony doesn't ruin it with an update or patch. So here we all are waiting.

@lovegod4 I checked on the website and Wololo stated that it will not run PS1 games. That it's not made to do that, and that it can't be made to do that. Also he said he doesn't like piracy. Other teams are either working on it, have done it, both, and likely will not release it from what I've read.

@lovegod4 It's the same one as before just with some other emu's included and new revisions. The old one had R79 and the new one has Revisions 95 and 97. But the saving has always worked for me. So YES it does, and apparently it doesn't work for you. Not sure why... It's the same GBA emu as before. Sorry if I sound rude, I don't mean it that way.

@enchilada234 Sweet! It works, I just had to use R95 as it doesn't work with R79 like I have been using for a while. I wish I could play The Simpsons arcade 4 player game still. It doesn't run on Mame, FBA, or the CPS2.

@TheKeybladeWar Nope N64 is mediocre at best. Supposedly the one game that runs the best is Mario 64. Still kinda laggy on most games though. some don't run either. And no ps2 emu's. No ps1 emu's either. But to get better emulation on N64 you must disable the audio. It should be already by default.

@lovegod4 When saving properly it will show you a time and date in the emulator menu. To check if it works, open the game you saved and then load your save state. It will load exactly where you saved it.

@lovegod4 When you go to save it, does it show a thumbnail picture of the frame you saved it at? I have to ask this also...how much free memory do you have? If your down to only KB, then you should delete something to get a few MB freed up for saving purposes. I'm asking random questions because I don't know why your having this problem.

@lovegod4 I honestly don't know what's wrong. Every rom I used on it I was able to save. Is the rom in zip folders? If so try removing them out of the zip folders. You clearly have enough space so I really don't know.

No it doesn't its been patched, it doesn't work the demo just says corrupted, the only thing that is not corrupt is the save file, I am on 6.20 psp 3000, and am telling you this doesn't work anymore, am getting so pissed off I might just get a DS it seems easyer to do these things.

@thessj1gogeta Press "R". Anyways it's probably because you placed the hbl and h.bin files somewhere else other than the root of your ms. Don't place them in the MP_Root folder or it will crash like you say. I have another video showing the process just check if you need help. If using the Go make sure it's all in the internal memory and not the M2 memory stick.

@thessj1gogeta I have seen some videos showing that you can downgrade your firmware from 6.20 to 5.00 M33-6 but I can't confirm this whether it's real or fake. I'm not sure if it was for the 3000 or not. Most videos exclude the 3000. I have a 1000 with CFW but I bought it on Ebay with it.

@thessj1gogeta There is a DS emulator but it runs suuuupeeeer slllloooooooooowwwwww. Like 5fps. So I don't suggest looking for one yet or thinking one is ready to play roms at full speed. There is MAME and Sega CD. I made videos for them and links for the emu's. Not many roms for Mame though and sega cd roms are large files. But Pico Drive runs the sega cd roms.

@steve5123456789 You have to run Patapon 2 Demo first. The emu icons will say corrupted just clicking on them. Run the demo and it works, unless you have ofw 6.30 and above then it don't.

@degrommeisterug I honestly don't know. Supposedly it's already out but I also read that it was a fake so I really don't know. Then the guy behind all the CFW left the scene and was supposedly payed by Sony to stop producing CFW. But also he was going to remain in the scene anyways, so I'm not sure. Search Dark Alex here and you may find some info. He's the man behind the PSP CFW. HBL won't let us play iso's either. We'll have to wait for CFW, if ever...

ok,i got sooooo far just there,i was installing Patapon2 and at the end I hit the R button and it freezes and when i click a game it says file corrupted.i put the hbl folder in the MR_ROOT folder,my psp is PSP-2000 With custom firmware 6.20? I've been trying the past year to download games to my PSP and this seems to be the only video thats gotton at least something to work.all the other tutorials just blabbed on about getting something called custom firmware which i think i already had!

@fgv112 Take the hbl and h.bin if you did that one too OUT of the mp_root folder. When you open your memory stick, thats where you place the files. Don't place them in any folder. It's called the root of the memory stick not mp_root folder. Once you do that it will work and not freeze. Your firmware isn't custom either. It's just 6.20. If it has M33 or something like that after the numbers then it would be. Soon as you open your memory stick place them there. Nowhere else or it won't work.

@fgv112 The root isn't a file. When you see your memory stick using a computer and you open it to see what's inside it, that's the root. It's the very first thing you see when you open your memory stick. It's called the "root" of your memory stick because you do not go into any folders. You don't look for anything called root. MY COMPUTER>MEMORY STICK> double click and open it. Now place the files there.

@frogzrus1 It's actually not a "hack". I didn't create this method either, I found it online and placed much work of testing emu's and downloading them and just placed them into a single link for you guys/girls. It was a single link until I found two more that work...It's does actually work, it just isn't a hack because it doesn't need CFW to work. It works with OFW up to 6.20. It's HBL for HomeBrew Loader.

@brohan900 Did you place in the root of your stick or the MP_ROOT folder? Make sure its not in the mp_root folder. If using psp go, make sure it's in the internal memory and not the M2 Memory stick. If you have ofw 6.30 it doesn't work either.

i have downloaded all of these and all have worked. but can u tell me how to add roms to FBA? i also have a CPS3 emulator on my psp with street fighter 3rd Strike, but again i don't know how to add roms(Street Fighter came with the CPS emulator). I really want to play x-men vs street fighter...

@shadowjesse626 Extract the roms and place them in the roms folder of the emulator. If no roms folder is there, then just place in the emulator folder. You can go to rom-world(dot)com and find roms there if thats what your asking.

@jlo138 well i downloaded the x-men vs street fighter rom but its zipped. do i put the zipped file in the roms or do i unzip it and then put in the roms folder? its a lot of files in the zipped file. it goes like this "xvs.01, xvs.02....." and it goes on until #20. some of them have a letter D at the end.

Hey i downloaded the file and used ur tutorial and it worked great but theres just one thing, super mario world plays really slowly. i havnt tested any other games but im gonna assume they play slow as well. I am using a 16 gb memory stick for my psp 3000 and i put alot of movies on it, could that slow the roms down?

@Matman1110 No it won't. Hit analog to the left to bring up the settings menu. Adjust Clock Speed to 333Mhz, Frame Skip to 2 and you should be running regular speed.

The super nintendo and genesis EMU is working fine. I cant get anything in the NES folder to work. When i load the Nester EMU it doesnt show any ROMs in it. But when i connect to the computer it shows the ROMs you included in the download file. Any ideas

@e10pvmt Because by default the emu doesn't have you directed to the roms folder. You have to browse your PSP folders and find the roms folder under nesterj and open the folder to see the roms. I believe you only have to do this the first time and then it remembers. For GBA, you have to do it everytime. If no roms folder (I don't rememer) then the roms are located in the emulator folder.

@jlo138 i did navigate to the folder on the psp and it still shows empty.....all i did was copy your folders over....maybe i will try and recopy the nester folder over and see how that works.....also what file formats do the ROMs need to be....i see your are .nes but i have seen others that are various file formats? Does it depend on the emulator? and if so what do the emulators you provided need?

@e10pvmt They are all .nes for Nesterj but you must remove them from the zip folder if they are in one. If you download any from any site they will surely be in a zip folder. If you copied the whole thing over then it should be in there. I removed the zip folders on the ones I provided.

@Rilley305 You can download them an try em if you like. I tried an R14 for Daedalus but it didn't work. It wasn't specifically for HBL. But yeah, you can as long as it's for HBL method. Daedalus is the worst one. I've read that some were considering making an N64 Emu specific to one game like say mario 64. Because each game is so different in the emu and with all the bugs it would be easier to make seperate ones for each popular game.
