  • Come to Norway neighbors c:

  • как они оригинально все это бормотание переводят

  • @watashiomite why dont you move to germany then, you fucking dirty piece of shit nazi? get a fucking job.

  • 14:06 "Lubas second husband frozen to death after getting drunk." He, he, he! And before that she was bragging that her son NEVER beats her when he comes home drunk! He, he, he! And these dumb people claim that they WON WWII!

  • @TomDavid88 no one gives a shit where youre from or that your name is tom david, so quit signing your comments, this is youtube you fucking idiot,he he he!

  • @TomDavid88 you're a fucking idiot and personify the 'typical American' that the rest of the world sees & hates. The Russians DID win WW2; we could not have done it without them... go smoke some more crack, or go have a scat party with your fag life partner... it does not matter to me... either way, you are an embarassment to the USA. Do not run your mouth until you open a history book & actually LEARN something

  • @silenthunder85 No< YOU are the one who personifies the "typical ugly American" as you are the ex-army man, who likes videos games and beer. And this video is just one more example of the "Soviet Paradise" that the Russians created for themselves after they "won" the War.

  • @TomDavid88 im not ex-army; I am CURRENT army.. and i like handing out beatdowns too. you run your mouth without thought and its hilarious. its a good thing they got rid of the draft because its impossible to serve alongside idiots like yourself-- i'd rather trust a Russian with my life; they are a proud people who know more about sacrifice & service than you ever will... to include both of the old women in this video; at least they served. and it was a radar base, not a paradise...

  • @silenthunder85 As a soldier of the New World Order, you are one of the most despised people on the face of the earth right now, especially by most Russians. They think of you as a "stupid animal" just like one of your previous Jewish masters, Henry Kissenger, said you are. And you will never get the chance to fight alongside them, as your New World Order leaders have declared the Russians an enemy for not going along with their plans to conquor the world.

  • @TomDavid88 oh yeah and as another youtuber pointed out-- no one cares who you are or where you're from; so go ahead & sign your comments like a retard. you are a nobody; a worker bee who will be forgotten by everyone in 100 years.. I am at least serving my country & helping others in the world, and have recieved awards from generals & the Secretary of the Army. You are a moron, but I'd still fight & die to keep your ass safe from those who would fly a plane into your office.. you're welcome.

  • @silenthunder85 You are not "serving" your country, but only helping to further desroty it with costly illegal wars for the Globalists that never end. You are getting a pay check and medals for destroying anyone and anything that apposes the New World Order's plan to make the world into one giant shopping mall, and you are too stupid to see that. But everyone knows that in America, the only people who join the army are the ones too stupid to get a real job.

    Tom David

  • @TomDavid88 oh ok, now i get your angle... you're one of those fucking conspiracy loons who think there is a new world order & jews run everything & blah blah.. dude what a fag. seriously; if anything, the world is on the brink of total collapse and anarchy. we will see it in our lifetime- WROL <look it up. there is no new world order; your biggest problem is going to be the criminals on the loose who will kill you after they rob you dry & rape you. no one cares for you or your neo-nazi channel.

  • @silenthunder85 We WILL see total chaos, I agree, and the New World Order will end (and you will be out of a job), but I'm not concerned with some cannibalistic nigger coming to eat me- I can easily shoot him and bury him in my basement. I'm more concerned with people like YOU rounding up your political enemies and my disappearing into some government gulag.

  • let me blow ya mind, oleg

  • Dude filming: WTF! HELP THE GUY! WHATS WRONG WITH YOU?!

  • The soviet revolution will echo for centuries to come. POOR RUSSIA! POOR RUSSIANS!

Stalin and Lenin must be laughing a lot in Hell! What a good job they've done.

  • Russia is a though country: No God, No Hope, No Love, No Future, No Democracy, No Family, No Morality.

Russian lives are meaningless. Only suicide, sex, prostitution, drugs and vodca make some sense.

  • @Soulflytribe04 so sad yet so true.

  • @Soulflytribe04 russia rape america in war!

  • @russiangirl112 Russian propaganda says that the URSS won the Cold War too and that Stalin was a Great Leader. Now you believe it...

  • @Soulflytribe04 that is not exactly as you said. No God, No future, but there is family and there is love.

  • @aleksankazakov Not really, russian parents treat their kids very badly. No love at all.

  • @Soulflytribe04 That's stereotypical bullshit man. My grandparents came from Ukraine in a town that now belongs to Russia. And they were very good and loving parents. My grandfather was a bit on the hard side, but what do you expect? Life was hard in the old soviet days.

Slavic people are very wise and smart people, I'm proud of having slavic blood running through my veins

  • @Nikomuz well you were lucky then. russians,pollocks,slavs..violent drunks.

  • In Russia there is only Moscow and villages :(

  • I believe the problem is not poverty but a sense of discontent and helplessness. If we only look the people who are less fortunate enough compelling to eat once in a day and having no where to live. Toxication is a good work of Satan the cursed but it would for sure make you more sad and distant from the real life. Real life could be more happier in such nice houses and apartments even without money. Its too hard to see his blind mother it hurts, May God Help them both and all people.

  • If that is classed as 'good'. I would hate to see what 'bad' is. russia is fucked, and alcoholic.

  • @40bcoots Eh, I heard they good in bed though..

  • Poor Russia, it is under a curse.

  • In Soviet Russia, Eniseisk 15 kills you.

  • russia

  • I'm living in Lesosibirsk, town which was mentioned in this movie. In fact, there is much better life, you can see wealthy people who have expensive things and who drives expensive cars. But at the same time you can find a number of small poor houses, like in this movie.

  • @dtr0q10 Would you say life was better before or after the Soviet Union. Before (1970's - 1985?) you could actually live comfortably with a pension and everything was affordable. This said before the oligarchs took everything.

  • This was a very interesting program. The truth is, though, that every country has some problem with poverty. The only issue I would say is that they might not have access to adequate medical care, since they have no way to travel due to lack of money. Aside from that, the apartments don't really look so bad to me. Even the little wooden homes don't look so bad, and I'd guess people get used to the cold.... The main thing is that the elderly shouldn't have to live alone.

  • Well ,, Russia is a land full of contrasts , you don't see this in major russyan cities .. but then again, they probably prefer the more calm and less industrialized part of russia

  • You fight for your country and the the fuck you get in exchange? shit.

poor people; where i live kids moan if their parents dont buy them 100+$ gifts for xmas, fuck sake.

  • No shit mate, i used to live in Canada.

I used to bitch about everything, like the world owed me.

Now i live in work in Northern Ireland, and these people are the toughest in the world.

The shit they have lived with is unreal, most people just don't know.

I don't complain anymore, and i miss Canada everyday

  • @irishbeliever i know what u mean..i have everything here and many times i have envisioned myself living this kinda life such as in russia..and i do not think i can last..and these peeps are survivors.

  • @GameManiak1910 thats true... those who have nothing get less... and those who have the more complain because of nothing.

its reidiculous... but, theres nothing we can do... Its pure Logic.. withou the Poor the rich can't exist.. and vice versa.

  • @GameManiak1910 yeah, no shit. There are no States and there are no Citizens.

  • Comment removed

  • @GameManiak1910 Hmm so true

  • @GameManiak1910 lol i remember someone copying your comment and posted it in "first world problems" rap song

  • Russia has too much territory and they cant control 100% of it . They dont want to loose even 1sq ft only for pride . They should divide the country into different independent nations as it happened after URSS with some actual east europe countries.

  • That was depressing to watch...what a shithole!

  • Shoot Russia used to overpower and collect countries in the name of communism. After years of being a world power and sausage and bread lines they are now paying the price for their idiocy.

No government is even close to perfect and certainly Russia will always be a shithole!

  • troll.

  • fuck you! Russia is a beautiful country, the only reason why things like that happen is because of corrupt government which takes most of its ideas from the west, Should be thankfull for communist russia, other wise you wouldnt be here, nazi germany would take over the world

  • Don't be ridiculous. Nazi Germany may have been able to conquer Europe, but there was never any chance of them conquering or occupying the continental United Sates.

  • Pffff....please. thats what nazis were trying to do TAKE OVER THE WORLD! if they would take down europe and ussr nothing would stop them from doing that.

  • USA would never be able to stop Germany, that's for sure. The Wehrmacht lost in Russia because the country was too big, too cold, its people too aggressive and the WM was not suited for city combat. America would never be able to give Germany the hell Russia had given during the battles of Moscow or Stalingrad or Kursk. Especially if Germany had conquered Russia and exploited the population and the land for its war economy.

  • Are you sure it's only their idiocy that has caused all this trouble? In the 1990ies, American capitalists did everything they could to disorder and traumatize the country in order to build free market capitalism, as they did in many other countries. They had also lured the USSR into the war with Afghanistan to create the same blunder they had experienced in Vietnam. I guess you never read anything about that, indoctrinated Yank. Try "Failed Crusade" by Stephen Cohen.

  • @ChristinaNL89 sounds like Kremlin propaganda

  • The USSR had also lost up to 30 million people during WW2 and beat 80-93% of Hitler's troops. Personally think it's perfectly adequate for a country with such past to have some problems, but as a stupid Yank who doesn't know what real trouble is you can't imagine that.

  • [8:18] Oleg's music, lol.

  • and moscow is so rich. it is so poor here. i can not even stand this..moscow can give much money to its responsibility of siberia.

  • No — Moscow takes all money from regions. Every place where buraectates have any power - are highly corrupted. And the highest government (Putin/Medvedev) doing nothing to beat corruption — it helps them to keep local powers loyal to Putin by fear.

  • If local powers loyal to Putin, the elections wil be falcificated again and Putins party (United Russia) will win again. So Putin wil be the highest ruer of Russia again.

You know that in Moscow city-parliament Putins party has 32 places of 35?

  • come to america. the slums of nyc.. or the appalachia in the south. or LA. or the gulf states of new orleans or louisiana.. very very very poor

  • By the way, I am certain many people in the West - in this country itself (UK) live just as hopeless lives. I used to live in an area near council homes where some people I knew were born at home due to lack of good healthcare or education at those areas. Plus drunks throwing up all over the pavement isn't a foriegn sight.

I believe in every country there are people like this - the proportion is what counts. You must keep in minds documentaries always tend to show just one side of the story.

  • Yeah, there are some real shit holes in England.

  • 762 full. you try to build a country without money

  • I know what your saying, and I disagree,

Russia has all the money it needs to begin reforms, the billions from oil and resource trades, but the problem is that its stolen by government officials and well connected thieves

the money could be spend by building roads, a solid national health care system, child shelters, etc.

  • you do what you have to do. if it is your fault. you are not going to be taken care of as well. if it is just lifes cruel way.. you are going to be taken care of very well. this is the difference.

  • christ this is a shitty country........

how can any russian be patriotic or nationalistic?!

Are they simply trying to deny their situation?

  • Not necessarily. The Russians are now as nationalistic as every and united in their suffering, which many seem to at least partially blame on the Soviet Union's colapse. All was quite dandy for your average Ruskie, living quite a nice life and in a superpower, then it collapses and they are poor.

So they blame this on the Soviet's enemt - the West, as well as the Soviet Union's latter degredation on non-Russian ex-Soviet union people, like Armenians, Georgians, Chechens and anyone not blond

  • I didnt think their were blonde people in Russia, except for the ones the dye their hair

  • Lol apparantly those non-blond people are not Russian, but Georgians, Armenians and others they call "Caucasians" (yeah I know caucasians does mean white people but they seem confused there).

Watch all the vids about the rampant racism there in Russia - even tolerated by the police like it's fucking 60's Alabama in 2009!!! Goddamned retards.

  • but the russians arent blonde either, they all have black hair that they dye and bleach colors

u are from the UK? are you native or immigrant?

  • I never knew that as I've never been there. But then who are those skinhead idiots fighting lol - they are just fighting themselves.

And I am an immigrant, I came here about 10 years ago from Iraq. Were are you from/at if you don't mind me asking?

    Take care.

  • ah I see now, never mind

  • all you took from this, was the color of ppls hair?

  • since you brought the subject of the hair up, then yeah I guess

  • thats unfortunate

  • western russia., near scandinavian nations.. or baltic coast areas.

  • does everyone get drunk and die in the snow lol

  • I have an older uncle who served in Korea when he was in his early twenties. He told me and some other folks a story once about seeing a young man throwing rocks at an old man who much too old to work. He was throwing rocks at the old man and telling him to go to the mountains by himself and die (let nature take it's course) because he could no longer earn his keep. I get the same feeling about how very poor OLD people are treated in the former soviet countries. It's as if their lives are over.

  • look at all the old people in old folks homes who never receive visits from their families in the U.S. This happens in every developed country.

  • wait till obamacare...

  • I married a Russian woman and live now in Moscow and I can tell you that Russians are very strong people. When I first came here I couldn't keep up with even my mother-in-law! My mother-in-law has a nice flat in moscow and rents it for income and lives in the village like these old people. She is very happy and would have it no other way. We also have 2 flats in Moscow and rent one of them to a man and there are 14 people living in that flat! 14 pople in a 1-room flat! And they are all young!

  • As for the alcoholism, it isn't as bad as people say. Many people in the villages are alcoholics but in the city it is usually the very young kids that drink ... age about 14-21. I have been out to villages and stayed with my mother-in-law and there is no way i could live there in the winter. She stacks her wood and burns it in the furnace the same as the people in the village on the movie. She walks 20 minutes to the shop and visits us in Moscow 3-4 times a month. Russians are strong-willed!

  • Where are these 14 people from?

  • the translations are weak and not all that accurate. I speak russian by the way

  • these documentaries that journeymanpictures does of russia are really good. I hope that journeymanpictures will do more documentaries on abandoned soviet towns...

  • i agree. ive been watching these videos non-stop since i first discovered them yesterday:)

  • vodka anybody?

  • Yeah right! XD

  • Communism is ALWAYS bad.

  • Probably my favorite doc about Russian life.

  • A lot of Americans believe that ALL Russians live like this. If U think so, then U don't know anything about life in Russia.

  • I am an American living here in Moscow and it is the best life I could possibly imagine. Life in the city isn't like this documentary. It is the same as saying people in New York City live the same as people in the mountains of Kentucky! Watch the movie Deliverance to get a idea of life like the village of Russia but in America.

  • Truly an *OUTSTANDING* documentary on life there! WELL DONE! :)

    ~Cindy! :)

    ..

  • Isn't that nice of the Russians, shuttle the old and infirm into the hinterlands. Please, don't give America any ideas. Only here they'd drop people in the woods and wave bye bye.

  • I guess there are no housing inspectors in Russia, what a slum.

  • No it is not

  • is ukrain a part of russia

  • Not anymore.

  • Me too Liberty, at the start I felt sorry for them until later on, when more details are revealed about Oleg & some of the others. Now, I'm only sympathetic to the old women in the documentary. Some one should arrange for Olegs mum to get her surgery so she can regain her vision. The way Oleg lost his limbs is the dumbest shite I ever heard, really...lol..

  • Passing out in the snow while drunk wasn't a good idea. Frostbite is extremely painful, I almost got it once.

  • Me too, I used to live in Canada's coldest province. I suffered frost bite after walking to school, which was just about 2.5 miles from my house. When I arrived to class my ears & cheeks were burning & itching badly, my teacher came over, took one look at me and told me that i was frostbitten.

  • Don´t you have buses where you live? I didn´t canada was so close to third world countries.

  • Nope. Ukraine isn't. Though, Russia thought it was.

  • I know Oleg caries the wheelchair up four flights of stairs when journeyman's not there, but how about helping him out? Would that have been so bad? That is crazy, how he lost his legs, i had to laugh at how idiotic that was & how cruel life can be. This is beyond depressing & Oleg is fucking retarded, he can't possibly have a normal IQ level

  • Yeah I thought filming him struggling instead of helping him was kinda cruel. He's disabled for god's sake! I would have helped him. I don't think the man is literally retarded, he probably just drinks too much. The lives these people lead is just sad. I feel bad for them.

  • The reason he didn't help him is because he is filming a DOCUMENTARY! We wouldn't know what life was like if the journalist went around helping all the people.

I am not saying people shouldn't help each other, I am just saying he was filming a documentary for US to learn what he found out. I think he did an OUTSTANDING job! :)

  • I'm sure they had a crew of more than 1 person (the cameraman). I'm not disputing the fact that they did an outstanding job recording this documentary. But if I was there at that moment, I would have at least helped the legless old man up the stairs instead of just filming him struggle. Maybe I should film the elderly and disabled struggling for documentary/entertainment purposes. But then again I'm not a heartless bitch.

  • Well unfortunately is like filming wildlife. You look but you don't interfere. After all what kind of help it would be. One time help for the day they came and left. Then he must cope for the rest of his life. Old?!?

This guy is like in his late 30 or so. A youngster in western view. That's what alchohol does of russians. It's a national sport. It makes them look at 40 as at 60.

  • Get off your ass.Go there and help the people.

I have been to Ukraine and helped many people.

    Its rewarding

  • i have an idea, quit drinking, save money, and take your family to moscow or another city and get a job. Otherwise don't complain. I pity the old people, it's not (entirely) their fault they are stuck here.

  • Do U have any ideas how high is the cost of living in Moscow? Do U know that to buy a condo in Russia U have to pay IN CASH full amount and the condos' prices in Moscow are even HIGHER than in New York?

  • I have read that Moscow is the most expensive city on earth, do you agree with that?. Cheers from Ecuador - Latinamerica.

  • Yes it is, but it's because of inflation and that's bad. russians don't want you to know what it's really like outside of moscow because they are proud,,, proud of what I'm not sure. when I was there I saw corruption. Good to be from the ole USofA

  • There's corruption here in the US too.

  • I live in Moscow and a 1-room flat, before the crisis, of 100 square meters was over 120,000 USD... NOT inside the ring. You do not have to pay in cash in Moscow. You can get a loan andpay the bank. My wife and I were in Real estate. It is the same in America... you pay the house off in full but owe the bank. To rent an old-style apartment here of 100 square meters is about 1200 USD per month. My friend lives in an apartment he rents that is 2 bedrooms and it is 1600 USD per month.

  • Yeah i can understand what you say ...

Documentaries show either very good things or very bad things about a country ,

they dont show intermediate things ... i.e the life that a normal person like you is Leading !!!

    bravo RUSSIA ...

  • You make it sound like high prices are a good thing?! It's called inflation and most of Moscow isn't rich, and yes I've been there and russian has NOTHING on the USA. After all you're a russian living in America!

  • it is almost funnymost of the time people who post commments end of fighting. Why is that ? I think that is because most people who post here are young..,they are full of testosterone..,so they enjoy to fight.

  • very sad indeed

  • i know things are different in the capital Moscow for example, but thats the problem that economic prosperity is only limited to that city. Russia needs to find ways of extending its economic prosperity to places like siberia to prevent these things from happening

  • sad

  • hatches ti yabuca?

  • I'd like to help people who are stuck like that

  • That movie just shows that Russia was better during the soviet..Under the soviet times she could go to the doctor and get help after the soviet she can't..I don't know why somebody can hate the soviet union it is clearly better than the "Inequality" soceity Russia is now.

  • As someone who is an outsider to Russia, I think the Russians traded their freedoms 9or were forced to trade them) for protection and security under the Soviets. As a country with a long history of being invaded, this made sense to them more to someone like me, from the U.K. Now it seems Russia has lost the protection it gave to its people and retained only the oppression of the Soviet era.

  • Once again Journeyman TV has given us the opportunity to see how people that are different than us (USA) live. That is a good thing and always gets people talking. Hopefully that brings us closer to understanding the world a little bit better.

  • This is "The Zone" and all of Eastern Europe is like this to one extent or another- even more insane sometimes.

    Sincerely,

    Tom David

    Minneapolis

  • Was lucky to see (not as a tourist) US from east to west and was astonished of such poverty there. Huge areas in big cities and sometimes full towns reminded me of an asian and african countries only here big billboards were used to mask that huge difference between total destitution against big wealth. And you are talking about eastern europe?

  • Hi, alebastra,

It is not "poverty" that so strikes me in The Zone, but the literal insanity- the hopelessness, the "bad" decisions, the paralysis, the "poor" logic of the inhabitants.

    Sincerely,

    Tom David

    Minneapolis

  • Tom, I guess you mean by "The Zone" Tarkovsky's "Stalker"...there are similarities, but the people in this film are living lives constrained by old age and a State system that is all too happy to place them in the margins. It is about planning and investment rather than any specific stupidity of the inhabitants. No wonder China want Siberia and would give it a go much more than the Russian government.

  • Hi, JLDoggard,

I do indeed mean Tarkovsky's "Zone" as I live in it every time I go to Bulgaria. But just an example of the illogic- look at that guy who chooses to spend what little money he has on alcohol, instead of train fare for his own mother who has gone blind and needs an operation! And look how she passively accepts it! There is simply something completely illogical about the Russian Soul that sends chills down my spine, especially when I'm forced to directly witness it.

  • It is hard to believe your claim to have seen the US, my friend. Your description about full towns looking like Asia or Africa gave you away. That exaggeration was over the top and frankly, a lie. Also, billboards are harder and harder tofind inAmerica. We are the only country that lists the poor with air conditioners. Makes me wonder what your motive is to write this silliness about America.

    This film is so sad.

  • Oh wait, he's a drunk, and received his injuries from being drunk. Forget what I just said.

  • That dude in the wheelchair is burley as shit. That guy is awesome. Thats a real man right there.....

  • The Russians are a hardy people, made rugged by centuries of hardship in a harsh environment. I am sure they will come up on top of their present troubles given time.

They went from a central planning economy to a decentralized chaos when their leaders experimented too quickly with western democracy reforms. With hindsight, impatience was their downfall, allowing the Mafiya, the next most organized groups to seize power in the power vacuum.

Whatever his faults, Putin restored some order.

  • That's a pitiful situation. Before biberal reforms and market economy the old men were respected and well off in Russia. Average state pensions were more than 50% of salaries, + free medical treatment, transport, housing etc. So communists respected the old much more then liberals

  • That's a pitiful situation. Before biberal reforms and market economy the old men were respected and well off in Russia. Average state pensions were more than 50% of salaries, + free medical treatment, transport, housing etc. So communists respected old much more then liberals

  • its lik the projects in tha us but worse

  • Exactly, those building look exactly like the ones in Call of Duty 4.

  • but this is sad.

  • my name a borat

    hahahaha

  • I am orginially Russian, and that is the stereotypical Russian accent, hahaha, and it's unbelievable

  • In Russia we have problems that can't resolve in one day. From revolution on 1991 this will be difficult, it will take a big time. But i love Russia because in this country does not appear shitty things like feminism, nazism, and most worse think - political corrects. In USA white man killed black - he is nazi, black man killed white - he is no one. All countries have they problems and no one is exception.

  • There are communities in America where highschool graduation is high, but when the kids leave for college or millitary service they don't come back. So, on paper it looks good, but...

I don't know what that has to do with anything.

  • no country for BALD men...

  • This is one of the most sad things i have ever seen. It makes me thank God for what I have. It could be so much worse.

  • Yeah it´s true I didn´t listen to all

    the stuff they were telling...,

but me would not be happy to be there,

you can be sure, better a bullet in the head,

my friend, but for russian standard it

may be "o.k." there for the elderly.

  • Pity. Russia can not get the full potential of the country. To huge, poor infrostructure.

  • Mother Russia ! That's the true life ! Americans don't know a shit about real life. Я люблю мою Мать Россия навсегда! Бог Благословляет нашу российскую Нацию!

  • whats that song in the first 25 seconds of this clip? do you know?

  • you watch too much tv

  • RussianPnwer is not russian, he just pretends to be.

  • what the fuck ? I was born in Санкт-Петербург and I live here -.-.

  • same here!

  • Then how come you can'teven speak Russian properly? :)

  • Had Russia never been communist, the people would be much better off. The 'cccp' oppressed its people while never providing the people with a humane life. Communism is just another branch of fascism. In communism, only he high ranking party members had a good life. Others had little to eat, very bad housing and almost no real access to medical care. Capitalism always provided the needy people with a much better life than communism.

  • you can throw militant environmentalizm in there with communism for being another form of fascism.

  • very true, but some countries are not ready for capitalism, russia only undertands a beating and doesnt understand the rules of capitalism. They are in shambles and poverty now, becuase they restarted their government once again, they should of stayed socialist.

  • I once drank my face off.

  • How do you know he drank his legs of ?

maybe he started to drink after he lost his

leg ? When you have absolutely no perspective,

drinking helps you to forget for some hours...

Thats why a lot of people are addicted to alcohol, not only in russia...

  • If you had watched the video, you'd know that he lost his legs to frostbite when he passed out drunk while outside in the winter.

I do find it interesting that they chose THIS guy to star in the video, when apparently the "town" is full of elderly people who are happy enough to be there.

  • it says in the film he lost his leg to frosite afteer a heavy night of winter drinking.

  • What a shity hard life, but that guy drank his legs off. He has no one to blame but him self.

  • but your thinking is limited in that you don't attempt to think "why did he drink his legs off?". there must have been reasons, and they were probably environmental, not self, inflicted.

  • I think you have a good point, but I some times have a hard time feeling sorry for people that put them selves in bad situations.

I have been i some bad spots in my life, but I never tried to sabotage my self.

I'm sure life is very hard there for sure, and I do feel bad on some level.
