  • No hoax. The evidence is growing and is already loud and clear. Its *not* just the Eurozone, but Asia Pacific, North and South America.

  • LOL YoungTurk trolling for hits again.

You guys suck so very much.

  • No, its not a hoax. Sorry...you'd better wake up.

  • I think the trader is actually playing a hoax. I took a mirror to his picture and saw a reflexion

  • That's the capitalist mentality in a nutshell.

  • I'm 90% sure this is The Yes Men.

  • Right... time to become a err uh.. trader..

  • The host on your left, Ben Mankiewicz is Jew

  • Not sure what the big deal is about this video...We've been seeing signs of this for a while...

  • He is a trader. My work colleague knows this guy!

  • I hope this is real. His honesty is incredible if only our politicians were like that.

  • ALLESSIO RASTANI is an annogram for IN A TOILERS ASS

  • His name is an annogram IN A TOILERS ASS (working class gets shafted)

  • It is a hoax, this guy owns a "comunication agency", he's not a real trader, it's all lies.

  • Japan has a deficit of 200% of their GDP and they're not going to go into bankruptcy anytime soon. Why is that?

  • @makiasd because they only borrow in the japanese market, their debt is financed by japanese savings.(japanese people's money in banks)

  • He's probably completely honest. People are motivated by money. That's just about it. Sometimes sex or food, but mostly money. If things are going in the shitter, at least folks can make money off of it. I'll bet a lot of people made money off of the Red Sox missing the playoffs, or the Lions going 0-16 in 2008. Even people who are usual fans of those teams. They've been disappointed historically, and go with the odds. Same deal here.

  • Cenk

Can you PLEASE get on NPR and get some sense into those guys. They are afraid of using the word 'bet', they call Credit Default Swaps "Insurance", which is an absolute joke (as im sure you could explain in a very entertaining fashion).

you are the man. The Big Short does in fact explain it all pretty simply.

  • @DoBrigh : eh? NPR is too busy selling Obama's next stimulus plan and intellectualizing Ben Bernanke's wallstreet rescue plan.

  • Didn't the talking heads deny a recession all together?

Then they said, nope, it's a double dip.

    What the fudge man?

  • Capitalism at work!

  • you guys seriously need to get rid of those annoying right wing attack ads before your videos

  • @hashiia : agree, I find Obama 2012 campaign ad just as repulsive.

  • @hashiia ad blocker plus, i'm proud to say that i never say any those ads you mentioned

  • They didn't pick up on the fact that if this guy is betting against the markets, then this is the perfect opportunity for him to spread fear in the population who will then cause a run on the markets. The markets drop and he makes money because he has come on national news and scared everyone.

  • If you or anyone wants to know "how it is" economy/finance, go to Zerohedge...that's prolly where Cenk went to get this video. And as the author states, he (this trader) will prolly NEVER appear on MSNBC. lol

  • So how dó i invest in the crash of the euro so i could make money ?

  • It's refreshing to have some honesty for a change

  • I LOVE THIS GUY.

  • watch Alessio Astani on CNN watch?v=7c6d_1QUfC4&feature=related

  • @LiBlub1 evil can be very sexy

  • @rohannesburg if I was Bill Gates i would NEVER pay off anybody elses debt unless they meant something to me. when old bill was poor back in the day, nobody gave a fuck about him and paid off his college or his various debts so why should he give a fuck when the tables have turned?

  • @Redshift21 why should they care? nobody gives a flying fuck when i volunteer, donate and do all the things by "moral code" AND i get absolutely nothing out of doing that shit. why not just look out for oneself and fuck the rest. not like the rest ever gave a fuck about me in the first place anyway. theres no shame in looking out for self interests

  • @theoriginnoobfighter what do you want a cookie and a fucking gold medal, we're talking about actions that could result in real hardship for many and even death for others, there's a difference between symbiosis and parasitism that weakens or even kills the host, I may never win humanitarian of the year but I'm glad I don't have your shitty attitude to life.

  • @daguzify why dont you be smart and bet that euro will crash. That way youll get something out of the sake of betting.

  • Anyone else notice that when he first says "trader" it sounds like "traitor"?

  • @WhyMeMoFo i think we should go after the religious people first eg. the pope, jews, muslims, CHRISTIANS...they have caused more death and suffering than any financier

  • Haha meanwhile, countries like China who continue to stay behind protective barriers and ignore the nonsense "waah free market waah" will come out of the next crisis even stronger.

    .

The United States is on the way out, we should all help to speed up the process.

The corrupt casino gamblers must know that they can't behave as selfish, greedy and criminal in the EU as in the United States.

    .

If my bank gambles away my money, the director responsible should fucking pay from his own salary.

  • There's a famous phrase says " When there's blood on the streets, buy property". A recession/depression is a golden chance for smart people to make money. So i'm sure this guy is not a hoax

  • The European market will crash, believe the guy. America will probably go into another recession. So many people in denial, it's funny

  • @killerchipmunkattack when does it get better? DOES it get better? the economy?

  • @theoriginnoobfighter in the CNN interview he did, he saed many economists think it could take up to 8 years for economy to recover. But his main focus is that the economy doesn't matter that much, it's your own personal finances that matter. Jus cos the economy is bad doesn't mean u haf to financially suffer. Which is actually good news.

  • @killerchipmunkattack hes a smart lad that one. proves you dont need a university degree to have common sense

  • @RAMKING61 Very true , very true ... which is to bad ... he could be fine with what he had on youtube ... i mean why people can say enough , i have enough ?

  • @RAMKING61 That was actually in the original video tbh, when they put it on youtube they shorten it.

Trust me, he comments on that-or don't, go and get a membership and use the archives and have a look for yourself.

  • @SniperWalrus

Still, they chose not to put that on the video. a bit fishyyyyyy.....

  • @SFSylvester No its not, I live in the UK.

I often think "I feel something is being left out" because I watch Youtube uploads first, then when I go and watch that days TYT Stream it all fits together.

Its ultimately the decision of Jesus and Jayar what goes on YT.

  • @RAMKING61 ? How is Al Gore Cenk's boss? No seriously?

  • @KalifUmestoKalifa Watch him interview Algore from a few days ago. Cenk states it in the interview.

  • @RAMKING61 Where can I find that interview I'm subscribed to all political tyt channels plus WTF show.

  • @KalifUmestoKalifa Zerohedge for the uncut interview.

  • @KalifUmestoKalifa September 20 - 'Al Gore With Cenk Uygur On Obama, Rick Perry, Climate Change, & More'

Keep in mind that Algore got a 'D' in 'Natural Sciences' at college.... a real whizz kid.

  • @RAMKING61 Oh, thank you, I missed that one. So Cenk is employed by current tv I didn't know that. Good for him I like the current TV. As for GS, Cenk did call them out multiple times. We'll see if he keeps doing so.

  • @RAMKING61 Oh, thank you, I missed that one. So Cenk is employed by current tv I didn't know that. Good for him I like the current TV. As for GS, Cenk did call them out multiple times. We'll see if he keeps doing so.

  • @RAMKING61 YOU maybe right my friend... Hmm I hope ur not but more than likely you are right.

  • @RAMKING61 No actually he didn't, if you watched the live show Cenk showed that, talked about that and agreed with him.

  • @DemiGodzillla Retaking a class doesn't mean that he didn't get a 'D' the first time.

The man is a dumbass. Like when he told Conan O'Brian:

"...'cause the interior of the earth is extremely hot, SEVERAL MILLION DEGREES, and the crust of the earth is hot ..."

He's not a geologist, a geophysicist, or a scientist in any field. The only B.S. degree this clown has is in BullShit!

  • @RAMKING61 Maybe you should double check who you're replying to dumbass.

  • @RAMKING61 You are a crazy conspiracy theorist. They even showed that part in the full show so your point doesn't even make sense on any level. Take off your tin foil hat and get out of the basement.

  • @RAMKING61 That's just hyperbole, traders and wall street analyst overblow their impact and role. Did the traders and analysts for Lehman Brothers think the same before their house of cards all came falling down? You think the Republican are clean from WallStreet Money? HAhaha ohh... little sheeple..

  • @RAMKING61 Cenk actually did go after GS, this clip does not show it but he does in the TYT daily uncut show.

It sucks how much of the full show gets omitted or left out in this short clips. that is why im subscribed to their actual show and not just to their youtube channel

  • @RAMKING61 Al Gore works for Goldman? WTF? Cenk works for Al Gore? WTF? You haven't been watching TYT long, and neither have the other idiots that thumbed you up. Cenk has been on GS's case for years.

  • @codediporpal : Google Will Obama’s Goldman Sachs Attack Expose Al Gore? Or Other Dems?

  • @codediporpal Cenk WAS on Goldman's butt...until Algore recently became his boss.

  • @RAMKING61 he does mention it ..go check the TYT extended clip !!..don't just jump to conclusion !!

  • @aandreya capitalism IS a good thing; It's the best system we've ever found. It runs well and has done more good than all the other political systems combined. The REAL problem is that we need carefully designed controls and regulations imposed by leaders who actually understand financial intricacies and who can get ahead of them as they emerge. This can't easily happen while corps are steering governments. They're rigging the game and were the losers

  • @AZRogue Capitalism isn't a political system, it's an economic system.

  • @TishTalons you're absolutely right. I misspoke but still believe in what I said (substituting the word economic for my use of political, of course). Capitalism isn't bad or harmful, it's simply that our government has been too heavily influenced by corporations who rig the system and destroy any chance of the market working correctly. It's Corporitism, not capitalism. Blaming capitalism loses focus, IMO, when we need to better channel our energy towards reclaiming our government.

  • @TishTalons In my opinion, capitalism only works when a country is growing. Capitalism is based on constant growth (in profit, product, ideas, etc.). It does not seek or support the idea of efficiency or equilibrium. The process of capitalism leaves little room for truly efficient products that last for a long period of time and do not need to be replaced. It also promotes the idea that companies need to get larger and larger and sell more and more. Which necessitates materialism in culture.

  • He doesn't even own a house, it's his wifes. He's not even a trader.

  • @ApathyPersonified " He doesn't even own a house ".....he may be smarter than you think. Doesn't even own a house.....what a shameful disgrace !

  • @justcallmeassinine "He is a business owner, a 99pc shareholder in public speaking venture Santoro Projects. Its most recent accounts show cash in the bank of £985. After four years trading net assets are £10,048 - in the red."

He's not that smart, you've really missed my point.

  • Why didn't the BBC reporters blow up at him for saying that?

  • @lukegreen37 ---

European news channels tend to be more respectful and polite than your God News. xP

But they did say their jaws dropped, which is quite unusual to hear I must say. :)

  • Keyword here is that he's an "INDEPENDENT TRADER" meaning he trades with his own money from home. Real traders don't trade with their own money, they trade with other peoples money. My buying power at work is probably 10 times what he's worth.

A short term downturn can create opportunities, sure, but a full blown recession thins out the markets, making them crazy volatile and/or stagnant (depending on what your trading) I make a lot more consistent money when the economy is running smoothly

  • @mangaas An independent trader is still a trader. Just because you might have more buying power doesn't mean that what he says has no validity. The stock markets may be volatile in a recession but currency, for example, isn't.

  • And you wonder why thousands of people are protesting in front of Wall Street? This guy just prove it. As for the Alessio trader, I'm surprised this guy is still walking or haven't been taking out by some higher power for talking this loud. I would hide if I were him.

  • This seems to be not the first time that some trader speaks up, but just not on the bbc. Watch this one youtube.com/watch?v=7VTdUWk9DLM

  • You guys left out the BEST quote from that guy!

  • Wakeup and smell the coffee. There are some people that want to destroy the market, some will do Jihad on the market for their mother country, Iran. Trying to create panic on the market to bring the West down.

  • so, now you get why capitalism isn't a good thing?

  • @MultiUniv3rsal if you did, why would you make such a ridiculous statement. Followed by an equally ridiculous statement. If America were a 'stand alone' economy surely it would be in the disastrous economic position it currently is. When the risk of default on borrowings come again in November there is little that can be done (mostly due to the half arsed effort last month). Throwing money down a hole is what happen in the recession prior to the great depression, and that didn't work out so well

  • @philthy122 You sir, are simply dumb as fuck.

  • @MultiUniv3rsal I think you are hardly in a position to comment on anyone's level of intelligence given your previous posts and clear lack of understanding of simple economics. I even bet you have someone to help tie your shoe-laces....or do you simply wear slip-ons.

  • @philthy122 I think you're thinking too hard without the proper tools to do so. Take your smug British 'arse' out of my fucking eyeshot, please.

  • I'm starting to get the impression that TYT have become disinfo agents. Why didn't they cover the more important points made by Ristani?

  • To be honest, this country does need a recession that can't be bailed out.

13 years of Tony B.liar, Gormless Bruin and Lie-bore have decimated Britain and left in the hands of a bunch of del boys.

A good, proper recession will take Britain back from the inept and give it back to the people with real talent and vision.

  • Why do we need traders, speculators, investment bankers anyway? How did they make themselves so pwerful and integral to our economies. Why are they paid so much more than peiople who do far more for society, like teachers, nurses doctors ... ????? Aren't they just self-serving do-nothing paper-pushers, gorging themselves on public money and then insisting that ordinary people pay for their fuckups and bail them out?? We should shoot every single fucking one of them. Not needed, piss off and die!

  • Comment removed

  • @leizuoer What an ignorant blue collar statement. Do you use a credit card? Do you have mortgages? Are you or your parents under some kind of a retirement fund?

I will say though that there needs to be government intervention in the markets to regulate risky behaviors/speculations (prime example being the introduction of the Glass Steagall Act, which was later repealed by the GLB Act).

However you obviously have no fucking clue what these people do.

  • Why do we need traders, speculators, investment bankers anyway? How did they make themselves so pwerful and integral to our economies. • I've heard the words "Culture Jamming", and "Yes Men" thrown around...

  • He's not a trader, he is a speaker. His trading portfolio is -10,000 euro.

  • @CDPuffer : a day-trader at that too..

  • @tooltalk eh, im a day trader too

  • I've known this for several years. Bank of America and JP Morgan are the other 2 banks that rule the world. The Hindenburg group is who controls these banks.

  • This is a prank, the only experience he had with the market make him lose 10.000 pounds.

  • He said the US debt to GDP is 62%? Am I wrong, or is it more around 100%?

  • @juslozano09 yep it is getting close to 100, not good at all, check out zfacts, sadly not been posting lately, but the counters are tiking

  • The PIIGS!

    Portugal/Italy/Ireland/Greece/Spain!

  • Did that guy received a truth serrum?

  • @emmmanueeel No, but it just does not matter if the people are aware of what is going on.

  • @cpufightclub mayby by saying that he will make fear grow in the people who will wacht this and incressing recession. so that is dream comes true.

  • He is just a wall street lackey, don't listen to his BS. treasury bonds are not safe.

  • TYT needs to get its act together. We know you want to be on Current TV and earn more money, but the laziness of your analysis is amazingly obvious. I shouldn't know more than you about these issues. I'm a Canadian and being well read is NOT my job. You don't research things well at all. Your positions are becoming increasingly obvious and predictable, and Cenk, sadly to say is a meat head. It's sad. The analysis is pretty weak and the style is like Bill O'Reilly's. Do. Better.

  • @zkuehner I agree with you. TYT is weak when it comes to real reporting. They do not report, they parrot.

I enjoy Cenk's bluster. He is affable and entertaining. The crew are working at their ability level...but there is no way in hell I'm taking orders from these people.

  • @ZombiedustXXX dont be mean to my cenkie wenkie

  • @ZombiedustXXX : yeah, I wonder.. What exactly is TYT's business model? Are they emulating Jon Stewart or Bill O'Reilly?

  • This is an example of why the finance industry needs effective regulation and enforcement of those regulations. If it's possible to make money by damaging the economy people will do so.

The U.S. is in a better position than Greece not only because it owes less debt as % of GDP but because that debt is owed in its own currency.

  • @temujin1234 and just how are you going to regulate the finance industry?

  • @cpufightclub I'm not, since I'm not a politician. There is a lot that could be done, though, such as restoring old regulations, limiting the size and scope of companies so they're not too big to fail, regulating derivatives, better controlling the reserve requirement of banks, limiting who can trade commodities, etc.

  • @487shawn Cant agree more bro, its fucked up that we allow people to do this for a living. All this debt from governments is basically a promise to pay, they allow people to shift the ownership of the debt in order to profit from the debt and then ask the government to pay the debt.....and who will pay the government back?

The average citizen, the trillions of dollars america owes, which they cause, is going to be paid off by our children, its fucking enslavement

  • @shandcunt sadly i have to agree, and its worldwide! i just hope someone smarter than i can come up with a fair and balanced system for world governance that is true democracy for all and not controled by a few! for the bloodshed if we fail is unthinkable but we can't let multinationals keep spreading death and distruction around the world all in the name of profit! jesus wasn't mistaken when he made greed a deadly sin, but we make it a virtue!

  • @487shawn Cant agree more bro, its fucked up that we allow people to do this for a living. • @487shawn It stops becoming Hard work and innovation and starts becoming bullying and theft at a certain point

  • @shandcunt yes and the real danger is when nations advance to the point that they no longer produce things and currency becomes the commodity! and income is earn thru finanical manouvers building the bubble for the top 1% who do not realise the real pain cause and are so out of touch like the kings of russia and france! let them eat cake goes so far!

  • Tell, no demand, your congressmen reinstate the Glass, Stagal act

  • More millions were made after the great recession in 1929 than were lost. I'm with this guy. I'm hoarding cash in the hopes that the market will drop out again, I missed the last one, I'm determined to have money ready for this one.

  • I also trade the markets (albeit not on the level this guy does), so I know what he's really saying here. All he's saying is that it doesn't matter whether the market's going up or down, so long as you trade the right side of it. He believes the whole world economy is in a bubble right now, so if it's going to pop, you may as well make some money when it happens. I agree with him; nothing wrong with that.

  • @Steve197201 yes your right the market reward positive and negative bubbles, that what got us all here in the first place! companies like country wide where helping bundle mortgages for the greedy makets even if they were a pile of dung heap! so they were rewarded for false and corrupt pratices! this is exactly whats wrong with capitalism in its current form, it has massively fail twice in a hundred years and almost fail 14 time inbetween but of course we learn of them after the president is out

  • @487shawn

Honestly, the best thing we could do is to completely do away with the whole concept of property ownership (either public or private), and therefore money (the medium of exchange for it). But in order for that to work, there would need to be a shift in the collective consciousness of society, and I don't see that happening anytime soon. That's not the fault of the rich. That's all of us. Most people are of the opinion that making money is just so much damned fun.

  • @Steve197201 yes we are all infected by greed which as a society has to be contained, and you do see some sign in south america of the concept change your talking about, but i agree thats a long way off,but for now around the world they have shifted the burdens and pain to the many and the many are getting angerier and angerier and remembet the orginal intent of terrorist was to attack the finanical system, this is only the begining and we must change our basic way or not survive!

  • Capitalism = Money over everything else.

How many more countries will be destroyed in the name of capitalism ? How long before people realize this does not work. Not long from now most economies will be sucked dry and the currency will be worth nothing . The train is coming to the end of the tracks but no one is hitting the breaks i am curious what our future holds.

  • @Hamhark98 As somebody said, they don't just bet on what happening. These filthy cunts actually create the conditions of crashes now. That is the norm now, & they use the money of the middle class & poor around the world to do it with. Your vulture comparison is incorrect. They dont just feed of the carcasses. They actually do the killing of the market often for personal gain or company profit. It is no longer capitalism. It is totalitarian, financial dictatorship.

  • Lol, he's a real life Gordon Gecko. :o

  • @MisledTrick actually sanders was considered to be the real life gordon geko! he's in the white house now!

  • get rid of traders aswell... fuckin vultures

  • TRUTH HURTS...

  • @R0gueforce ---

Very true indeed, it's also a fairly unique project in the balance of national and brussels decision-making which can prolong processes quite a while. But the eurosceptics whine at the tiniest thing, there are alot to be done to make the EU more efficient and it ofc has great aspects like forcible implementation of human rights standard across the continent etc.

Now most governments are quite mainstream and will overcome eurosceptic minorities with time to smoothen the machinery.

  • 144%?!? That's ALOT of gyros!

  • @RadarKat73080 i think you mean gyno. eg. gynocologists

  • @theoriginnoobfighter No, gyro. The Greek sandwich.

  • @RadarKat73080 i believe a greek sandwich is more accurately named a souvlaki

  • @theoriginnoobfighter Let's not split hairs. I could have said "olives" or "hummus."

  • The question is; why are these bets legal in the first place?

  • @MrG0TH1ER

To quote Gordon Gekko, 'Your not naive enough to think that we live in a democracy are you Buddy?" The rich control the legality or illegality of such laws. We live in a Plutonomy.

  • @dudesonman4200 but we live on earth..

  • @theoriginnoobfighter

What the fuck are you talking about? A plutonomy is an economic system in which a very small minority of extremely wealthy people control the state, that is both politics and the economy. The word has nothing whatsoever to do with the planet pluto.

  • @MrG0TH1ER Because they own your senator... :-\

  • @Quierotortilla : SSSSHHHHHH!!! don't tell TYT Obamabots that.. They don't want to hear anything that contradict their deitities.

  • That's real talk from wall street. Start sharpening the guillotine.

  • french revolution guillotined these types of fucks and i fucking dream of the day their blood runs through the streets.

  • @antoireland09 it may come to that lets hope not the period of time is called the "terror" in france and they lost thier humanity and eventually turn upon themselves, france fell into anarchy and distroyed itself paving the way for the forrunner of hitler bonapart who cause death and distruction everywhere, let hope we can contro our excesses and that includes excesses of greed and hate!

  • @487shawn napoleon era was also the era of enlightenment in the world, despite being an emperor he helped spread the revolution spirit into austria, russia and most other european nations..

  • @oprichniki12 actually at the cost of millions of lives and more of the enlightenment was propelled in venice and southern italy than thru the french relevolution, the most major effect on the enlightenment was the freedom from the catholic church which bonapart apposed, people like martin luther and others began using the invention of the press to spread knowledge!

  • @antoireland09 Yep, if americans had any sense they would be marching on wall street in masse and throwing shit at goldman sachs, lehman bros, etc. Hundreds of thousands uniting in solidarity and screaming at them and showing the gov. they wont take this shit anymore. But of course, they are too busy watching american idol, jersey shore, and twittering their BS. They will wake up in 5-10 years though. The way we all learn shit. The hard way.

  • @spaniardmale77 and the wall st banks sold bundled mortgages to europe knowing they were crap and taking out default swaps so they were betting against the very mortgages they were selling. yep its quite the system we have until it all collaspes!

  • @spaniardmale77 Umm yeah, theres this protest called Occupy Wallstreet, that is getting no Press Time. Not All Americans are Dumb, I mean I live in Texas Id give anything to participate in Occupy Wallstreet. BTW, we also had large protests in Winsconsin.

  • @antoireland09 that would mean we could get infected by hepatitis B. eww no thanks

  • The German president has just announced that the German people will have to continue to fund the Greek debt - poor buggers!

BTW: That Financial Trader is a typical bankster 'shark'....TOTALLY COLD BLOODED! (as long as they are alright, then the rest of us & the world if necessary...Can go to hell)!

  • Yeah euros are great, the weakest link in the chain fucks everyone else when it snaps!

  • u forgot the part where he said the government doesn't rule the world its goldman sachs
