Two things man if you look behind the rear wheels of the "feet" vehicles you should see another see of smaller wheels that are on a hinge and folded under... unfold those wheels and it gives Voltron more stability when standing... The other thing is the hands weren't put on correctly... Rotate the hand on each side 90 degrees away from the body like how it would look if he wanted to hold a sword. Where did you find all 3 sets w/ boxes? I have all 15 toys but no boxes!

I remember in the fall of 1985 my dad took me to Lionel Playworld ,and I showed him Vehicle Voltron I, originally known as Dairugger XV. It cost about 80 bucks at the time. Ironically on Christmas I found it in front of the tree. It was a big box containing all fifteen vehicles. Man I love it, I couldn't put it down! I wish I still had it. He is so hard to find ,and too expensive on line. Even harder than Golion Voltron III. The hardest being Albegas Gladiator Voltron II.

@farcluun Actually, he just doesn't know how to work a friction motor. Those were popular on 70's era Japanese car toys and then carried over into the 80's toys like this prior to the pull back and release types.

When I was younger my parents got us both voltrons, my brother took the lion set, and I was kind of left with the vehicle set which I did not like as much as the lions but it was not without it's merits.

I loved the Lion force Voltron growing up, this was always a lesser Voltron for me, found it funny that with Vehicle force Voltron there were so many vehicles required to build Voltron that the Vehicle force were taking serious risks being the individual vehicles, I mean if the villains took out 1 or two of these vehicles, making Voltron would be next to impossible, atleast you could keep track of 5 lions...lol boy does this bring me back though, thanks for the review DCompose

I think I saw this exact Voltron in a movie. The main characters kid was going through post traumatic stress and refused to stop carrying it around till the end. He also had whatever it was the bad guys were after and snuck it onto the voltron. I know I'm most likely wrong, I cant even remember the movies name. (saw it in 95, I think) It looked like a green plastic strap or something.

I never knew there was this version of Voltron, it looks really neat, except for the feet, maybe. ^.~ Seriously though, I'm glad you took the time and effort to get and review these sets. As to what the erh... center part is supposed to be, I'm not certain,but maybe a mobile commandpost or wedgetank?

Great video. This is my first time seeing vehicle voltron, from all the different sets, all they way voltron himself. If they updated this and made alot of GOOD changes to it, I could see this being a hot seller in stores today, this set and the lions set, and well the gladiators to. Voltron or voltrons equal money in my opinion, and good toys to.
